From the point of checking in to checking out the service was excellent. The rooms were clean and tidy and comfortable, so we couldn’t have asked for anymore. The breakfast menu has a fantastic selection with a taste of Scotland thrown in.We were also shown the cells, which thankfully have been converted into rooms 😂 Overall a 5 star experience.

We stayed here as part of our honeymoon travelling around Scotland. We placed a request upon booking for recommendations to eat in the area, somewhere nice with it being our honeymoon. They emailed us a great list ahead of time of local places to eat and visit. They also were very kind and left us a little present and card in our room. Thank you :)We stayed in one of the bunk cells we had our own toilet in the room and a shower just outside our room. The bar in the hotel was very reasonably priced and they had games available to play. The coffee machines were a great addition especially as there isn't the room to have coffee making facilities in the room and honestly I think I preferred the machines as they were unlimited where as in a hotel they usually only leave you enough tea/coffee for one each and sometimes you just need a little extra caffeine. The room was warm and clean and the breakfast was excellent. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area for a fun stay.

Extremely good value hotel, located at the end of the main street in town, an easy walk to the railway station. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and well furnished. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. A nice touch is unlimited free coffee and tea from the restaurant. The breakfast (included in our booking) was excellent.

On the plus side the hotel is nicely furnished and the breakfast is good quality (although slow as 2 courses and cooked to order, not ideal when making a quick start to the day).On the downside parking is limited, the cell rooms are very small with nowhere to place luggage and the prices are higher than other places nearby with better rooms.I probably wouldn't stay again as there are better cheaper options nearby but if I wanted a lazy start to the day with a nice breakfast I might stop by in the morning.

Decided to write a review before we depart tomorrow, as there is really nothing at all I could comprehend moaning about between now and then. All the staff I have encountered are very friendly, the place is impeccably clean and we have had a really comfortable stay at a reasonable price. My son and I opted for bunk beds in a former cell, and as expected it’s tiny. Despite the size of the ‘cell’ it’s very comfortable and hot drinks are available along with a private shower. This place is different in a very good way and takes nothing away under the excuse of being so small. My son has thoroughly enjoyed the experience and I would certainly book again. Thanks to all the staff for your cheerfulness and for a fantastic breakfast this morning!

Good value for money. The rooms really nice, could do with some extra shelves as not enough space to put things away so it was bit messy in ours. Bathroom slightly to dark for me, could do with brighter lights. Really nice breakfast. Would stay here again.

Great room, comfortable bed and clean all over. One night stay as an extra for our west highland way trip to get a look around Fort William. Short walk to shops and other amenities. Cocktails were had and breakfast was a small but great selection of foods. Thank you

A delightful place to stay. Staff were all super friendly and chatty. Room was excellent value and equipped and decorated (think Mal esque at fraction of the price. Bed was a super king with quality mattress ensuring a great nights sleep. Bathroom had wet room shower and beautifully equipped with up to date fixtures and fittings. Breakfast was extra at £12 per head but offered great choice of cooked options alongside juices and croissants all freshly prepared and cooked. Bar was open late and whilst prices were a little high only in keeping with bigger city centres.Parking is available directly outside the hotel which was free.

Beautifully decorated hotel and lots of nice touches like complimentary teacakes, sweets and limitless fresh coffee. Our room was at the back of the hotel and there was a bit of noise from a generator possibly, but not enough to keep us from sleeping. The breakfast was amazing and the staff were very helpful and friendly.
