Exquisite food. I ordered the venison and black pudding stew and a wee haggis for starters. The service was rapid and on point. The staff were friendly. The atmosphere is cosy and warm. I would definitely recommend coming and would come again myself.

Food 8.4/10, service 8.7/10.Nice flavour and atmosphere of the Geographer theme restaurant. The dishes look pretty good, and it is a nicely chilled place you can find in the town.💷£18-30,💁🏼‍♂️20-35mins.

Loved the atmosphere of this place. We were looking for a good fish and chips shop and while we weren't sure which one to go for we decided to come here. And, I'm glad we did. The staff were friendly and welcomed us to the restaurant, the food - DIVINE - and overall the experience was smooth sailing and good.

Excellent again 2nd night running for us. We did have to wait to get in, as they were very busy but well worth it. I had a wee haggis starter which was fantastic, and followed by the sea bass. The owner is a really nice guy and always very accommodating.

The food was excellent, very fresh langoustines with tasteful salad and French fries, and house special dessert. And their own house beer. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Recommended.

·

Really nice food, great service. Top experience.Owner also gave us some suggestions for great local walks before we left.

·

Really lovely restaurant! We came for lunch midweek, ordered haggis, soup and a hot smoked salmon salad. All were very delicious and friendly staff. Love the décor in this place too!

Whatever you do, get the mussels!!! So fresh, so plump, so juicy, so delicious in that wine & garlic butter sauce. Mac & cheese was not bad, halloumi salad was alright; and given a choice again I’d have gotten the mussels as my main instead of a starter 😋😋

·

Amazing battered Haddock and Mussels. Sadly chips aren’t handmade. However all people in this place are gentle and nice.

This is an interesting place. The menu is short but nicely done. The haggis is one of its kind and you must try it. The main course servings are decent but if you are expecting heavy meals it might be worth ordering some cheesy dishes like Mac’n’cheese. The beer 🍺 servings are awesome, try all the in-house ones.
