The Hebridean Hotel Restaurant in Highland

Great value lunch meal, friendly service (thank you Morgan), food was tasty and fresh, monk fish tacos were excellent, soup burger and deserts we all had, no complaints will be going back, if you get to sit near the front good views, we had a meal only didn't stay.

Friendly helpful staff from the minute you walk in. We had a room with a fantastic sea view. The hotel doesn't look like much from the outside but once your in the rooms are well done. Nice comfortable bed in a very spacious room, nice shower in a very clean bathroom. We had dinner which was absolutely amazing, couldn't fault the food or the service and breakfast the next morning was just as good. Bar has a good selection of local beers, gin and whisky. Definitely recommend it and look forward to returning one day.

We had the this place recommended to us and it also has the best Google review in this area. However the service was S L O W. From ordering the drinks/main meals, to getting the drinks and EVENTUALLY our main courses arriving it was all very slow. Of the 2 main courses that we ordered only one of them were ok. We ordered the Katsu burger and the sirloin steak. Katsu burger was 5/5. The sirloin steak was rubbish and for £27 I was expecting more and it was under cooked. Nice location and excellent views of water.

We'll presented meals with a good selection of dishes and drinks including draught Skye beer and vegan options.The owners and staff have worked hard towards upgrading the restaurant and hotel rooms.Well worth a stop when on Skye.

Great stay at Hebridean Inn. The named rooms was a great touch with that room name being an area in Scotland, thought that was a really neat touch.Room was clean, tidy, cozy and the beds were comfortable - staying in a twin room. Shower was good but could with a little more pressure for my preference but it does the job.Breakfast and dinner meals were both tasty and well presented. For those wanting to try Haggis for the first time it worth getting the full Scottish breakfast.Location on the island is ideal as you are not far from the main bridge are you are on the main road to drive around the island as well. Co op (supermarket) just down the road also. Fantastic view from the car park.Emily was a fantastic receptionist, concierge and waiter through out say friendly and an ear for detail and guests preferences which is very much appreciated.

The food & views were amazing. We had a wee issue with a window that wouldn’t close but the staff couldn’t have been more lovely and sorted us out straight away. Dinner was great & Breakfast was the best French toast I’ve had in a long while!

We had a fantastic meal the night the owners were in charge, so booked for the following night. There was a lot of confusion the next night with the other staff and our food. however, we do hope to try again next time we are on holiday there. The 5 star rating is for our first night experience

Arriving at the Hebridean Inn restaurant for dinner, I really wasn't expecting much when we walked in, décor is pretty basic so I expected much the same from the food, however I was left pleasantly surprised, ordered the shin of beef with tatties, neeps and haggis which comes in a tower form, actually a brilliant idea so complements to the chef.Not a huge fan of haggis but the way the flavours worked together on this dish was really brilliant and now perhaps for me the only way to eat haggis. Excellent food, really good quality and good value for money at £18, the beer was good too and the waiter who served us was polite and very attentive.This should be a 5 star review, but one thing became annoying rather quickly, on the day we visited it was very windy not untypical for Skye, and as people came and went many would not close the door properly so it kept swinging open, it was cold and drafty and although not too bad where we sat it was so frustrating for other customers who themselves had to keep getting up and closing the door, kind of made it difficult to really enjoy the food which really is the saving grace for this eatery.Great food and service, décor a little dated and not a very warm place to eat in winter due to the door issue and lack of proper heating, some very simple fixes, a new door and a bit of a spruce up I think this would be packed most days of the week.Excellent value for money

We booked food after exploring the Isle of Skye.I mainly booked on reading the reviews.The food was absolutely gorgeous and I am fussy so that's a huge compliment.They are doing Scottish themed food and doing it VERY well.The portion sizes were massive (unsure of previous reviews on small portion sizes) we had a selection of adult meals and also children's meals.Would not hesitate to book here again and this will be our go to restaurant when we next visit!

Good friendly service, lovely view from the tables by the window. Although the road is busy outside it didn't detract from the view or the enjoyment of the meal. Good selection of choices on the menu including vegetarian options. The half pint of squat lobsters was delicious, it took a while to de shell them but they were delicious and it meant I took time to enjoy and digest my meal, no room left for dessert though!
