Absolutely lovely place, came in right away and the host Frasier was very warm and welcoming. Had a table with a beautiful view and the food was amazing. Soup of the day (pictured) was excellent. Connor was especially helpful with his recommendations for a Port to go with my French toast

Amazingly friendly service, in a very friendly town. The friendliest food service I've had in a long time. Food also very good, lovely views over the river from the dining room. A thoroughly enjoyable evening, made all the more so by Frazer and Connor's work and attention. Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed our meals, scallops were cooked perfectly and the crumpet with the ducks egg was divine. Super helpful pleasant staff, and a good barman who made off menu cocktails for us.

Excellent service. Front of house from Asturias, Spain was so cheery and helpful. Greeted us with a big smile (through his face mask of course). Fraser made us the BEST pineapple mocktails. Ask him what he can make for you! Helpful and attentive, cheery and fun to chat with. The food was so delicious. I ordered the black pudding starter and the pork belly main dish. An espresso to follow. My friend had the starter of a generous portion of wonderful, Scottish smoked salmon followed by a fragrant main dish of hake. Perfect. Make reservations! We will be back!

Took advantage of the 2 course lunch deal for £15Was hosted well, server upstairs was good too. A little awkward but in a good way. The manager recommended the prosciutto, fig & raspberry salad to start. It was amazing. Main was great too.Also had an oat milk coffee which was made really well too. Great views and really cool building.Chefs, although clearly talented at cooking, seemed to be very impatient! Hammering the service bell like crazy after about 15 seconds of initial ring. At least they've got high standards of speed and efficiency!Thanks whole team, really delightful solo lunch.

Great little place set over 3 floors overlooking the river. We sat at the top floor and had a great view. Very reasonably priced set dinner menu. Catered really well for children too. Food was delicious apart from the dessert from the specials menu which was a really odd and dry deconstructed rice pudding.

A decent meal. A little disappointed that current menu on website was not up to date with what was served in restaurant. My father had wanted the vension advertised online but not on menu. This was the same when went with a mate. Had soup to start, for my preference this was slightly over peppered. The main was good, though pork was just on the underdone side. It was slightly pink, pork should be cooked through. Cheese board was fine but no butter. Both my parents were happy with their mains. Overall a good experience but a slight improvement needed for 5 stars.

It's better to book this place few days in advance.I would say building and interior is rather usual, even through it looks modern from outside.Views are great through and averybody is friendly.They actually don't have much selection for drinks and food.However I'll still give them 5 stars, because food was delicious and our fish was well cooked.

This was by far the best meal we ate during a recent trip to Inverness and the Cairngorms! The restaurant has a lovely location on the riverside, and staff were super friendly and helpful. We did have a booking but arrived early which thankfully wasn’t a problem as we were quickly seated.They have a great selection of vegetarian/vegan food, and I chose a starter of beetroot carpaccio and a mushroom burger as my main, while my partner had a delicious tomato soup and a chicken dish. We both had dessert too. Everything was really tasty, in fact we are both still talking about how good the soup was!They also had a decent wine list and I liked the fact that we could get a 500ml carafe of wine to share instead of a full bottle.We’ll definitely return next time we’re in town!

Sister company of Mustard Seed on the other side of the river.The food here is rustic cooking with options for any picky eater. Ample seating throughout the venue however prime seating is on the top floor as it is all open air.Fishcake starter was excellently put together, the Ullapool cheddar and smoked haddock really came through. (Though a little too finely shredded it was still very good)Mains had were the stuffed chicken, vegetarian pasta and seabass. The chicken was a hefty portion served with an ample of seasonal vegetables, leaning on the edge of dry however the prosciutto wrap and filling made up for it. The seabass was fresh and cooked nicely, a fragrant blend of seasoning accompanied by the cous cous were also very good, I preferred this over the chicken. The vegetarian pasta (a tortellini stuffed with pea and shallot) was good but not fantastic, filling was more in dumpling territory and the actual tortellini was a bit undercooked, still serviceable.Wine selection here is good with reasonable pricing. The staff are probably the most accommodating and friendly in Inverness happy to service our requests every step of the way and did it with pep in their step.Reservations are advisable, prices are really good and they have options throughout the day. Will be coming here again
