Been coming here for over 20 years and it's always been great. Good beer, friendly service. As well as the pub grub menu, they do a range of unusual curries, all of which are exceptionally good, but the monkfish curry is the best of all. Curries are also available for takeaway.

Great food, ate off the specials and the food was outstanding. Small pub with limited seating so get in quick to avoid disappointment.

·

Friendly service, just what was needed at the end of a hike. Great value pot of coffee for 2 for £4.

Came here on a whim as my partner and I were looking for car camping spots on our first proper trip away. The pub was great, reasonably priced, cozy and friendly. Staff were lovely and helpful. Food is great, recommend the poachers rabbit pie! Even the locals are friendly, it reminded me of being a young lad in our local in the middle of Cornwall. A great place to stay a night!£7 per person for a pitching, showers and toilets open 24/7. Pitching area is quiet and feels secure. Will definitely come back here!

It was a brilliant stay. Everyone was friendly and helpful and the food was lovely. The room was spacious and perfectly positioned for enjoying the view of the sea.

Bangers and mash great; tikka masala was tasty but sauce was heat hot but the chicken pie es some were almost cold. Lovely barman very helpful and friendly

Frozen take away curry to heat at home. It was home cooked, very tasty. The landlord is right to be proud of his food. I am sure that the eat in version, served to your table is just as good.

Called in for lunch on route to Bodmin lovely ploughman's lunch, very nice wine and beer, dog friendly. Staff were excellent as was the food and service, extremely friendly staff and locals. Loved it

Very welcoming pub. Dog friendly. Loved the food...Best steak I've had for ages ! Very generous portions

Although it's wise to book a table for Sunday dinner, I didn't, as I was advised i didn't have to, luckily there was one table left. I could of gone outside in the beer garden but it was windy. The Sunday roast was lovely, freshly cooked and full of flavour, and the price was fair. We'll go again, perhaps on a Wednesday as its a curry night.
