A nice we corner in Inverness for a pint or two before dinner, oh aye, the craik was pretty good. Roll on next visit

·

Excellent Alehouse and restaurant situated close to all the amenities Inverness has to offer, a must visit for anyone visiting Inverness wanting to sample real ale, has been a regular good beer guide entry for over 30 years.

Food fantastic. Ambience great and good service. Lovely to get a hot lemon towel after eating. Such a nice touch. Highly recommended 👌

·

Well...pleasantly surprised!! Food was delicious ..piping hot and beautifully cooked. Excellent squid and the lamb was tender and seasoned perfectly. Salads were fresh, crisp and tasty. Loved the chilli dip! Attentive staff and very pleasant. Recommended!!

Was a bit pessimistic about being an English man watching the euro final in Inverness but this pub was great. The old boy behind the bar was good craic and attentive. Good offer of well kept cask at a fair price. Lots of tvs to view from and friendly customers all round.

Nice pub to visit when visiting Inverness. Ended up there twice during our two day stop in Inverness. I must proclaim that I am not a big gin drinker but was introduced to Scottish gin and my wife and I ended up having a few drinks. Interested to find out that the lemonade in Scotland is clear, unlike the lemonade we typically have back home. Liked the gin we tried so much that we grabbed a couple of bottles at the duty free shop in the Glasgow airport to take back to Canada.

Authentic pub with execellent staff, great real ales and great food

·

Really nice pub. Very friendly bartenders. Great beers. You can get small tasters, so you can find the beer you prefer. And the fastest Wifi I had in the UK so far (~60Mbit)

·

Great traditional Scottish pub. Ate lunch and had a few pints. Nice and atmosphere and friendly staff.

Superkind and friendly staff! Meal was awesome! Try the smoked salmon starter, the ale beer "happy chappy " and the "Speyside cider" draft. Close to the city center.
