The Priory Hotel Restaurant in Highland

The staff makes this place special.We booked accommodation, lunch and dinner for a small wedding party. During the booking process we were helped with organising our buffet lunch and main dinner service. We were also given excellent advice on where to source flowers etc locally, the best places to take amazing photos after the wedding ceremony, in Inverness and around Beauly and even going so far as to lend us 2 large white umbrellas in case it rained! During our stay the staff were very helpful and friendly, kindly asking if we had everything we needed and even coming to our room to check if we were okay before the wedding ceremony.We truly had an amazing stay, the room was large, clean and comfortable. Our table for both lunch and dinner were beautifully laid out for us in a nice private corner of the restaurant and there were added special touches at the dinner table which made it even more special. The food was outstanding and everything was cooked to perfection and served in a timely manner with a service that was second to none. We couldn’t have wished for more from them.With a special thank you to Paula, Kate and Chris.

A bit disappointed with the rooms as not as modern and spacious as appeared in their photos. Duvet cover had huge rip and didn't find the bed comfy. On the plus side breakfast was fantastic if you like a fry up.

Use the Priory Hotel often for meals. Always first class service, reasonable prices and good food. We'll set out for social distancing and always spotless.

Staff is very friendly and welcoming and their food is lovely. We will definitely be back.

We had two lovely nights stay with our dogs here. Our evening meals and breakfast were very delightful and tasty.Staff are very friendly and efficient.Hall & stair carpets could do with a clean but otherwise good value for money. Located in the centre of this attractive village with good shops next door.

Booked for one night, planning a longer stay in a few months time. Room was immaculately clean, comfortable, best of all quiet. The staff make this hotel, great balance of professionalism and friendliness. Relaxing experience, looking forward to a return visit.

Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast good, although pancakes were off the menu for unknown reasons. Public areas pleasant, with cosy real fire. Although the rooms were very clean, we felt they needed modernization. The recently updated shower rooms were very nice.

Booked into the bar as the restaurant was full. Staff very polite. Ordered three meals scampi, steak pie & Chinese chicken, the scampi and the pie were very nice however the Chinese chicken was very dry and not very good so only the rice was eaten. I did point this out to the server who did apologise. Ordered three desserts two cheese cake and one Belgian waffle which were very nice. Would have been five stars if not for the Chinese chicken.

The room was nice and very clean but only one towel in a twin room was poor. The staff were a mixed bag, some helpful some less so; the breakfast servers were great I have to say. Biggest disappointment (and bearing in mind this is a Friday night in the only pub in the town as far as I can make out) was not even being able to enjoy a quiet drink downstairs after eleven o'clock. It's a nice place, it's just such a pity it is so dead.
