The Rendezvous Cafe in Highland

Loved this place! Stayed in Inverness 3 days an had various breakfasts all here. Friendly staff and great food

I am reviewing for information only as I was unable to eat here. If you Google dog friendly restaurants Inverness, The Rendezvous comes out on top but in fact it is NOT DOG FRIENDLY. Dogs are not allowed. I'm sure the food is perfectly fine and the staff member was polite.

Great selection of tasty gluten free food for brill value. Friendly staff. Visited on my birthday for breakfast while on the north coast 500 roadtrip... My partner had the veggie breakfast, i had the gluten free posh French toast with berries, banana and maple syrup - yum!

Food was quite nice - scrambled eggs, bacon & toast. Ordered 2 teas, 2 teapots came....1 teapot had 2 teabags the other had hot water. When I pointed out the obvious mistake I.e. each teapot should have had teabag each was told NO the extra pot with hot water was to top up our tea....having had 20 + years experience in all forms of catering this was a first & something I hope never to experience again as the tea was disgusting.Perhaps the staff could reconsider the tea situation?

Great wee cafe. Stopped off for lunch as it had a reasonable g/f selection for my wife. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Good food, good service and good music !!

Shocking customer service, rude and unfriendly. Absolutely horrible treatment from the staff and even the owner.A waitress served me a coffee and threw it in front of me as if she was feeding pigs.I will not be returning to this place including all my friends in Inverness, worst service I've ever seen.Honestly I think this place should be banned from being open to the public. The Adams family would ran much better this business than these people.PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE!

Visited here for breakfast on 1st January! Lovely little place! Nice menu. I got the Scottish breakfast with 11 items. It was delicious. Fast service, cheerful staff. Definitely recommend a shot, especially if you're hungover from a night of drinking!

Great food, good service, fair prices, very good music and the Beatles played here. They should have eaten and had a cuppa. We were tourists in Inverness and became regulars here. I would specifically recommend..... the entire menu. And the coffee and tea, recommend the cappuccino as well.

We decided to try this place due to the popularity on internet. Food was average. Most of the items on the plate lack of taste. Coffee was average too. They forgot to serve few items we ordered. The waiter or owner kept calling customers motherf**kers (in a friendly way) which was weird. Don't believe the hype.

i recommend especially when you are looking for gf and v option. the traditional breakfast will also surprise you positively. delicious coffee!
