Staff were so friendly and hospitable, the room was cosy, clean and had an amazing view! We had an evening meal in the restaurant which was good value for money and so tasty! Breakfast in the morning was absolutely incredible and the food and drink were generous portions. If we were this way again, I would stay here, no doubt!

Well worth a visit . Walked Into this old school and it still had some of it features about .We ordered fish and chips as well as chicken coujons , chips and home-made coleslawThe meal was so fresh and tasty . Couldn't fault any of it .They did take away so we ordered sticky toffee pudding as well as chocolate fudge cake with cream all home made .That also was delicious 😋The lady that served us was also helpful and informative. She helped us with the next part of our journey

Excellent food and room was spotless modern and comfy. Even although I was totally soaked because of the rain (& walking the Cape Wrath Trail) the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Will definitely be stopping in for the restaurant next time up that direction. ( I can recommend the Venison Madras and the sticky toffee pudding & Skye blonde beer but everything else looked and smelled good - there was a great selection of whiskey too!).

Stopped here on the off chance for a quick lunch and had a very pleasant cup of coffee and some tasty cheesy chips. It’s a lovely place which has a charming character to it, really friendly staff too. They also have rooms to book so it might also become a place to stay on another trip. Highly recommended.

We got takeout from here for dinner during our recent travels in the area. We liked it so much we went back the next night! Only serving food as takeout currently, and closes at 7pm, but you can sit outside - there are plenty of tables, mostly undercover, and with a stunning view. If it’s warm enough, I recommend sitting outside to eat dinner and/or have a drink and watching the sun set over the valley. A great range of food, including tasty vegan options and a range of drinks - alcoholic and nonalcoholic. Very friendly and welcoming service. Will definitely go here again the next time we’re up in the north Highlands.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Old School Restaurant and Rooms. It was a shame that the restaurant isn’t open at present but the takeaway meal was very nice. It is clearly very popular too as there was a constant stream of customers. We stayed for one night in room 3 which is small but very quaint and cosy. The shower room was excellent and the whole room was extremely clean and comfortable. This room is perfect for a short stay of maybe 1 – 3 nights. The Old School Restaurant and Rooms are in a lovely location with great views over Loch Inchard.I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We stayed for 1 night on our NC500 trip. The views are beautiful. Our room was spotlessly clean, with large bed and plenty of tea/coffee. The staff were great! At check in we were asked if we want dinner and asked to chose what we want and times we want to pick it up, to make sure it is freshly cooked and that they will not run out as the restaurant can get very busy. The prices are very reasonable and portions are massive. We were lucky as by our room on the sun we were not bother by midges. The only downside is the noise in the annex building, where our room was located - you can hear the next door room. If you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs as some of the other people like to talk well into the night.

Enjoyed the take away fish and chips (well the fish more than the chips). You can eat it on their picnic tables and wash it down with a beer! Especially pleased to find somewhere open in town!

Delicious food and generous sized portions! We stopped off on the way to Sandwood Bay – the fish and chips were delicious. It was so nice that we decided to stop on the way back the next day – the burger was also super tasty. Great views from the benches in front while you eat. Would happily stop again next time I’m in the area.
