The Seafood Shack in Highland

Fantastic place to eat, professional service and delicious food! There is always a queue. The girls do a brilliant job. I warmly recommend it to anyone.

The fish shack had much to live up to. It certainly delivered on a wet and blustery Ullapool day. Not much dry seating when the weather was wet. The haddock wrap was super fresh and the Cullen Skink delicious. Top marks.

Absolutely gorgeous food to say the least! This is seafood with a sexy twist, not the ordinary Fish&Chippies you'll find in every Pub! We had the wrap and the soup and if that would not have filled us so much, we would have loved to try it all!!Considering the hideous weather, this just made our day! Thanks team!

Just brilliant! We spotted the Seafood shack as we pulled the car into the ferry queue, and they were just about to close, but they were kind enough to serve us. We had two haddock wraps and Cullen Skink, both were absolutely delicious, and the food highlight of our trip!

Outstanding fresh food and friendly staff. The only downside is the wait. Probably about 30 /40 mins. The food is worth the wait - just make sure you plan in time.

Totally delicious experience. We were recommended this place by the owner of our holiday cottage and we were so glad we came. We had langoustines, haddock wrap and homemade potato salad. All amazing. Everything is cooked fresh so you order, have a short wait on benches whilst keeping a eye out for the next vacant table! For us, the timing was perfect, as our order was ready, we secured a table to enjoy our lunch.

Fresh seafood, nothing fancy. Just simple good tasting fish! We arrived ten minutes before it "opened" and there was already a queue of 20 people waiting. They also offer gluten free alternatives to the bread!

I had the Cullen skink and Haddock in a wrap. Both delicious and good value for quality food. Short hours (12.00 -1600, Mon - Fri) and all outside seating, can be very busy. Worth the effort if it suits your plans

Stumbled across this little place by accident when passing through Ullapool. Amazing smell on walking up, and amazing looking food coming out from behind the counter. It must be popular as by the time we arrived half the menu had sold out! Ordered the haddock wrap which was to die for; fish freshly cooked and just melted in the mouth. A fantastic little place, and will definitely be returning on our next trip!!!

Very very busy wee place. If in Ullapool or going through and you like seafood then definitely come here.They have set options and are only open seasonly, see pictures.Food was made fresh, so does take a bit of time but was worth it. Some of the best seafood I have had in a long long time.Must visit if in the area and it's open.
