The food was good. It is an expensive place because the quality of the food is excellent as it is freshly made for you.Get the kalamari, you won't regret it!

We are both vegan, so this restaurant was obviously not our first choice for dinner. However we saw they offered a vegan option and everywhere else seemed to be booked.Service and portion sizes were good, but we paid ÂŁ18.50 per person for something which could have come out of the frozen section at a supermarket. The meal comprised 2 x vegan 'fillets', chips, and salad. Photo was taken half way through meal.

Had pre-booked for later in the evening, however they could accomodate us.Lovely staff in a busy restaurant. Food was terriffic, if you are lucky enough then recommend the Mussells, but they only have a few servings a day.Note that it is currently Card Only, no cash

Absolutely amazing food! I had scampi chips and salad in a box, with of course Irn Bru. Even had home made tartar sauce!Definitely worth the money and it was the only place open when we were walking around at 8.30pm.My partner had sausage and chips and loved it!The food is sourced locally which makes it even better that you want to spend money to help a local business !

We waited outside to be seated for nearly 10 minutes when the restaurant was very quiet and staff members were stood chatting to each other. When we were finally seated we were immediately pestered for our drinks and food order. No time was given to look over the menu. After ordering drinks we kept being asked if we were ready to order….After being asked at least five times within five minutes if we were ready to order we finally gave in as we felt that we had to order something quickly. As soon as we ordered we were immediately presented with the bill and were expected to pay even before our food had arrived. We were thinking of ordering more drinks and settling at the end of a relaxed meal but this was not meant to be. Overall we felt pestered and hounded to order quickly and pay even quicker. We weren’t the only ones. At one point we saw eight members of staff stood chatting whilst several customers were waiting outside to be seated.Aside from being made to feel completely unwelcome, the food was average at best and the prices were extortionate for the portion sizes we received.I would recommend using Davey’s fish and chips on the harbour front.Rubbish staff who provided rubbish service at an extortionate cost..Watch out for the hidden service charge that you’re not told about until you have to pay.

Went to the Seaforth tonight for dinner out with my girlfriend and we didn't book a table prior to going. When we got there the staff were amazing and so accommodating even though they were getting very busy. I had the scallops and my girlfriend had soup of the day . Both were INCREDIBLE! for the main course I had the mussels which were some of the best I've ever had and the portion size was fantastic. My girlfriend had the fish and chips and she said it was the best she has ever had. The fish was tender and cooked to perfection and the batter was light and crunchy. We will be back again for sure and we can't wait to try all of the menu. Can't recommend this place enough.

By far one of the best fish and chips in Scotland! The service staff was genuine, friendly and checked on us at various times to see if all is good. They have also started on a new ordering system where you don’t have to download an app, just simply scan the QR code, order your food, payment is immediately made, and your food will shortly arrive. 10/10!

Cullen skink was really tasty and the fried prawns were so good. Staff was nice and friendly. Fast service. Make sure you have your credit card with you because they don't take cash.

Been to Scotland for four days, had fish&chips every day, and those at The Seaforth Chippy were by far the best. And the drive there is equally special.

It was a long line during holiday season. But the staff was very helpful and serve my order fast like a flash. The only cons imho is the chips a bit soggy but I am not bothered. Can't wait to visit this place again soon.
