We Had an exciting meal, and friendly service, The menu was different and full of unusual yet pleasant tastes. that made for a memorable evening with friends.

·

I stayed here in my campervan on one of their lovely level pitches which all had individual water, waste, electric and even TV point. Didnt need the TV point as the views from the windows including Kites battling in the wind were amazing. I stayed 2 nights and ate in the restaurant both nights. The food was amazing and I ate Venison and Belly Pork and even persuaded to try the Ginger and Date pudding. Before and after the meal I relaxed in the dog friendly bar which had an incredibly comfy and informal atmosphere.

We stayed here in our caravan, pitches are fully serviced with electric, mains water and drainage.Idyllic setting, surrounded by mountain vistas, lovely site to come to and relax, plenty to see and do.The new owners Rob and Ange are working hard and are very friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant in the hotel and the food was excellent, the chef certainly knows what he is doing.

We had the pleasure to stay for two nights in this extraordinary hotel in an extraordinary location in the countryside near Inverness.Very Scottish and cosy style, however it felt like coming home to the family. Rooms furnished with love, great food and a welcoming bar. We hardly ever experienced a similarly great hospitality.  Many thanks to Mary and David, whom are operating The Steadings as a passion not profession. The stay was absolutely a highlight on our tour around Scotland. Whenever we come back to this area we will definitely know where to stay. All the best Britta and Dirk

I can't really say enough positive things about the dinner my friends and I had at the Grouse & Trout Restaurant. The food was wonderful, beautifully presented, and well prepared. It was challenging to select what we wanted to eat - everything sounded incredible.Mary, one of the owners, was warm and welcoming, and quick to help with suggestions and recommendations. I would happily adopt her as my grandmother :DI speak for my whole group when I say that we firmly recommend dinner here. Just such a delight :D

We're staying at a log cabin nearby so popped in for a meal and drink. Unfortunately, there were no guests staying so the chef wasn't on. We stayed for a couple of drinks, the atmosphere is friendly and the decor is posh rustic with realty comfy couches. Booked in for a meal so am really looking forward to that.
