The Steam Inn in Highland

Great place to stay , great food and the locals are very friendly.

Visited the restaurant and had the best dessert ever. Would visit there again just to have more of their white chocolate and baileys mouse with strawberries and cream.

Stayed for 3 nights in a very comfortable room with a great shower. Room and bar/restaurant were clean, and staff were accommodating and friendly. Breakfasts and dinners were excellent. Cracking location too.

The food was amazing especially the mac and cheese I recommend it to anyone staying in the area

Called in for food this afternoon whilst in Mallaig. Welcoming and cosy. What a treat....food was excellent. I had scotch broth..proper home made soup, and, Hurrah! It was piping hot..unlike lots of establishments. Then langoustine with a small salad and my wife had the monkfish scampi. Just super.Well done all at the Steam Inn. We have been before and we will certainly be going again.

Just dropped in for a beer. Draught beer excellent. Service friendly - very clean premises - could not ask for more. Happy after a couple of pints or so. Great stuff - always worry what will happen at the end of the line these days.

Cracking small Inn with rooms in centre of Mallaig. Close to harbour for ferries, train station & shops. Room was spotless & well equipped, staff friendly & helpful, great breakfast as well.

Nice little pub, offered a wide range of food on the menu. I enjoyed my meal, pity I couldn't have stayed for the live music 😔

Great hotel. Modern single room, lovely hot shower with fantastic products, friendly staff. Not a great breakfast unfortunately
