Delicious homemade cake. But does not deserve the name "cafe". Only filtered coffee, also for "Cappuccino" as base and added a milk out of powder. Hot chocolate also made of water and powder.

Lovely place, I planned a very small detour on my nc500 bike ride. I enjoyed my sandwich, and wanted to curl up on one of the coaches and doze off for an hour or so. Good vibe

Amazing food! Beautiful store. 😃

·

Great little cafe on the NC500 - good cake and hot drinks for a low price and has a toilet.

·

What a fabulous quirky and quaint place. The service was warm and friendly, and the food delicious. The menu has a good range of foods for all dietary requirements. A must visiting place if you're in the area.

Delicious breakfast in a very cute cafe….nice coffee. Great service.

Very tasty food and lovely service.

We went for lunch and had paninis, some beer and a bottle of wine. The paninis were delicious served with a very tasty, crisp and very fresh salad. Courtney, the waitress, was charming, friendly and efficient. They were very busy and therefore service was a little slow but well worth the wait. We sat outside in glorious sunshine at nice picnic table/benches.

Lovely little cafe, bit of a time warp but quirky. Toasted sarnies came with a great salad which certainly beat anything else I've had on the nc500 this winter. Toasties could be better but the plate of food I received was fantastic and I wasn't left wanting. The coffee was nice too and very good value at less than £15 for 2 beverages and 2 plates or sarnies with sides

Pretty disappointing - nearly £20 for two average, warm-not-hot sandwiches, two packets of crisps, and two cans of Coke. The place is a bit bohemian, I guess is a large part of the attraction - that, and the fact there aren't many other places selling lunch. But by far the most disappointing meal of our NC500 trip. Better to pack a sandwich and hold out for the Bettyhill from 5pm. Still, appreciate the quick service and friendly staff.
