Absolutely perfect stay, very helpful and happy staff , warm room great showers and the food was amazing !

Great hotel with lovely rooms. Bathroom very modern. Restaurant was nice with good service. Liked the locally brewed beer. Plenty of walks nearby.

Only there for a stopover on the bike but excellent food and lovely room, would come back in a heartbeat to explore the beautiful vistas

Stayed for 3 nights in September. We had booked for dinner on our first night and arrived just in time due to traffic and road closures.Manager was running reception, the bar and waiting all tables single handedly. After having a delicious dinner we were served a drink and checked in.Hotel is suffering from staff shortage like most of the hospitality industry and staff are run off their feet. We were always served promptly and with a smile. We tried to book for dinner for our last night but due to said staff shortages they were unable to take any further bookings. Ok for us as we grabbed some food in fort William.Room was comfortable, large and had a bath which filled up incredibly quickly.We had a comfortable stay and would book again if we return to Ben Nevis.

The lad on the bar had been having a bad day, chef was AWOL so no food for non-residents (although someone we met at the bus-stop said he had walked in and had a nice pie!). Late afternoon visit, the atmosphere was a bit staid. Not much cheer but we'll visit again and it might be a bit different 🤞Hotel reception looked nice but floaters in the beer.

Stopped by for dinner to a warm and friendly welcome. There was a lovely cosy fire burning. Good food, good beer and excellent attentive service what more could you ask for. Lovely little highland inn. Will be returning.

Booked for a birthday party - arrived to an empty restaurant with poor atmosphere. The waiter we spoke to was incredibly rude and had a terrible attitude. He badgered us to order and seemed like he wanted us out of the door straight away. Lost 8 customers. Don’t bother with this one.

On arrival me & 5 pals were greeted by a rude waitress who persistently shoed us to one side, instead of just greeting us & dealing with our booking.The building reminded me of a late 80's chalet in the snowy mountains, which passing "time" didn't take too kindly as every other building moved forward into the modern era.Food was actually good but the service was shambolic... I'm only guessing, but I reckon a banana boat full of refugees heading to the UK would of experienced a better welcome than we need.

Nice menu selection, waitress really friendly & helpful and our choices were lovely.The guy behind the bar (owner?) was a bit brutal towards staff and lacked the 'customer care' qualities of the rest of the team.Busy place probably better booking, although that's difficult depending who you speak to!!

Wow! Amazing food. Even if you are not a haggis fan, do try the Haggis bonbon starter. Even my picky eldest loved it. I am not sure about the breakfast and dinner service times, but kitchen only open from 12 to 2 for lunch service, so make sure to plan your timing. Well worth it though.Really nice selection of drinks in the bar too.
