The Struy Inn in Highland

Delicious, very well cooked food in a very cozy setting. The couple who run it are absolutely lovely and very attentive. They don’t usually take walk-ins, so do book!

Food was delicious and the service was excellent. Thoroughly recommend The Strut Inn for a lovely meal.

Superb setting, a warm welcome on arrival and a very attentive service throughout what was a fantastic meal, highly recommended the Haggis starter and the Venison main, my wife and daughter had the Lobster and Sea Bass respectively and were both were suitable impressed. Well worth a visit.

What an amazing dinner! Karen made us feel right at home as soon as we walked in, and Jim cooked an awesome dinner. I've had haggis a few different ways, but their haggis Wellington is now my favorite. My wife had a cheese and rosemary flatbread that was superb. Then we both finished up with venison steak over potatoes with garden vegetables. Jim said he was just a cook, not a chef, but we totally disagree!! We plan to come back in the summer and try the falconry (and another dinner)

Excellent place to stop for food, we precooked as we were a large group. The food was delicious, seasonal, fresh and very well cooked. The couple who ran it were very friendly and kindly showed us around their collection of birds of prey whilst we had drinks before dinner. They also were able to cater to lots of dietary requirements without any issues. Would highly recommend.

We had dinner at the Inn for my Wife's birthday. Our friends had recommended the Inn and we all went together. Jim and Karen, the owners, made us feel so welcome the Inn itself is very comfortable and beautifully furnished. Our meal was excellent. I am very fussy when out for a meal and I could not fault it. My haggis starter was delicious as was my venison main course, my wife's steak tasted delicious and everyone else's meals were absolutely spot on. This was a meal that I will remember for a long time and it made my Wife's birthday all the more special, Many thanks Karen and Jim.

A warm welcome, varied menu of local fresh produce cooked to perfection, make this our favourite restaurant in the mainland Highlands. So far we have tried fresh seafood (including langoustine and scallops), Seabass, Venison and beef. All cooked to perfection, served with a smile and of course an excellent wine list.
