The Sutherland Inn in Highland

Beautiful building from the outside, running along side the river. So seated inside near the fire watching the water is really peaceful. Cant help but to wonder what's hidden behind the tacky pine paneling on the walls, in my opinion it makes it look like an English 90's social club.

This pub is excellent the food is delicious and the staff are very friendly. I would definitely recommend this pub if you are in Brora ☺

Very friendly and talkative staff. Breakfast and dinner were generous portions.Specific note to the fish and chips which were excellent, the burger however was a little dry.Rooms were a good size, water pressure was good and the temperature of the shower once it heated up was excellent.Overall, a pleasant experience and one I would return to - even if just for the helpfulness of the staff.

Lovely wee place took us in last minute when we broke down in Brora at 9pm, the place is a little dated but has all amenities you could ask for, very comfortable beds and amazing service for breakfast and check-in / out. Great value for money.

Had an evening meal, table for 7 with dog. Food was first class, large portions, and a friendly welcoming atmosphere. Great to see youngsters from the local area being given employment opportunities too! Lovely meal, prompt service, clean and tidy restaurant. 😁👍

We stay there every year. Absolutely fantastic. Never had a bad night. All the staff and owners are fantastic. We will keep coming back. Keep up the good work. 👍

Very dog friendly. We went here to watch the euros final on our trip around NC500. The woman behind the bar was so accommodating and friendly. The food was great in the restaurant with generous portions. Worth a visit if passing through.

Loved our visit to the Sutherland Inn, excellent welcoming and service. Chose to eat in the bar area and enjoyed a first class meal after enjoying a couple of drinks sitting outside watching the day pass by, relaxing after some recent adventures 😀😎😊
