Great food and service from the staff. My choices were lovely and particularly enjoyed the lasagne. Felt a little bit harsh to charge £7 for a bottle of beer that can be found a lot cheaper in other bars on the island. There was a mixup with side orders but the staff were quick to rectify the situation and deduct them from our bill which was a kind gesture. I personally couldn't bring myself to spend £34 on one of the mains but that was purely because the options weren't really to my taste.

This place is sheer bliss. Staff are friendly and attentive, the food is just too good to put into words and whilst on the higher end of the pricing scale, it's by no means "expensive" compared to many fine dining establishments.A seasonal menu on offer, we had a range of dishes each, 5 drinks and a pudding between us and it came to less that £200.The food was exquisite and the flavours were incredible.Make sure to book well in advance as it's often fully booked and there is a waiting list. But it's definitely worth waiting for.

Food is decent and nice however if I am comparing to other fine dine resturants the food has some way to go to reach a Michelin star level. The fish was nicely cooked but lacking seasoning and tasted bland. One of the oysters I had tasted like someone just poured Gin on it and really didn't go down well considering it was the first dish. The other deep fried oyster was nice. The cured salmon was fresh and nice but on the bottom it had a yogurt sauce which for me not sure if it belongs there. The desert was nice probably the best dish of the night. One weirdest thing I found was that they had no music playing it was silent and you could here everyone's table what they were talking about. Definitely need to have some music on.

Exceptional local food with a great menu of fresh seasonal ingredients. The team (in particular Iona, Charlotte, Danny & Krzysztof) really went above and beyond to make our meal so memorable.Highlights were the dressed oysters, smoked salmon, partridge.

What can we say about this place that hasn't already been said! We came here for lunch as we couldn't get a booking on our trip last year and it was 100% worth the wait. I would go so far as to say it's the same quality as I've had from some Michelin starred restaurants in London! Every dish was beautiful and the service was superb, which was not only friendly but they were very knowledgeable and helpful. We started with the oysters, which were so fresh and tasty, and the smoked haddock, which was possibly my favourite of the two. It came with a savoury ice cream, which just lit up the plate. This was followed by the pigeon and scallops for our 2nd course. Again, I couldn't fault either of them and the pigeon was probably my favourite dish of the day. It had such a delicate balance of flavours and the mustard just gave the right amount of oomph. We had the beef rump and venison for mains, which were on the same level, followed by the chocolate chililique for dessert. I thought this might be too rich, but it turned out to be perfect. Just enough sweetness, without being too much. Great ingredients put together very well. This was definitely the highlight of my trip

This place has been consistently superb over the many years we've eaten there. Fabulous food and very efficient and courteous staff. We'll be going many more times.

Wow, what to say about this place?! We were told by so many people to go and it lived up to those high expectations. Every dish was exceptional and the service is very friendly and attentive! We had the natural oysters which had a creamy and rich, as well as some cooked ones which were hot and melty (delicious sauce), the pigeon (pie was truly a high point), some very sweet langoustine, then the halibut (rich but well balanced with lemon to cut through the cream).Dishes are all perfectly sized and great to share so you get some bites of everything. Felt nicely full but not totally stuffed.Finished up with a dram sitting outside in the sun looking over the loch - heaven.
