Best pub in town. Food amazing and a great pint. What more do you want?

My wife is a big Outlander fan and she was geeked about going here. Awesome castle. The staff were really friendly too, they talked to my wife about the Outlander filming. Walking around the castle we were trying to picture the different scenes from the show.

Great food for an absolutely reasonable price, we had to wait a bit because we had no reservation but waiting was worth every single minute. Staff was very friendly. Those people know what they are doing. Hope to be able to come back one day!

Came across this pub while driving through Kingussie. And spotted this pub and because my name was Laird also decided to go in and see what it was like.Ordered x2 pints of coke which were flat, let the barmaid know and her reply was well I must be out of Gas. Do you want another drink had to have cans instead. Bar made looked like she could not be bothered. Ordered food aswell. Was absolutely lovely! Steak & ale Pie was gorgeous! Attached pictures of menu. Would give a 7/10 would of been lower but food saved them.

Cute pub with really good food. There was a bit of a wait to get our dinner but the hostess was up front about it when we came in and we didn't wait any longer than she estimated. Very friendly staff and some good pints on draught.

Staff were friendly and looked after us. Food was tasty. We stopped in here on our way to Inverness - it's a good spot to stop and a gem among the rough.

Food was great. Service was unfriendly (we were there at a busy time). Great location in the Cairngorns about an hour from Spey distillaries.

Lovely old pub atmosphere, delicious food, good selection of beers, some craft beers on tap and bottles, with great service.

Lovely Pub in Kingussie. Very good food, especially the Fish & Chips, the Burger and the perfectly à point cooked Tuna Steak. Super friendly Staff with the lovely regional accent. We liked it and if we‘ll be there again, we‘ll surely have our Dinner there.

The food is like from a restaurant, the prices are pub leveled. Music and atmosphere are cosy and service is great. There is even free WiFi on request. All in all an absolute must go to when you are in Kingussie.
