The Torridon Hotel Restaurant in Highland

The 1887 is an absolute excellent restaurant experience. Starting with the stunning location the 1887 will not let you down. Most of the food is sourced from their own garden and livestock. The staff couldn't be more welcoming and deliver high service.Whenever we are close again, we will try to get a table again or even be able to stay a few nights next time. It is worth every penny!

The best food we had on the NC500 route. Some of the waiters and waitresses were a little inexperienced but was made up for with enthusiasm and friendliness.

We were travelling through the Scottish Highlands in June and wanted to treat ourselves on our last eve there. We booked a table for 2 on the day (YOLO!), and were super lucky someone had cancelled on the day, so were able to get the table! There were not many pictures of the surroundings of the restaurant online other than the food (we did not know it is part of a hotel when we booked), so although we were excited about the good food, we did not expect the stunning location that comes with this place as well!! That was a very pleasant surprise! We were really pleased with the service provided by every single member of staff: from the booking to the welcome and food service throughout! The food of course was delicious! Honestly, we just could not fault this place! Thank you so much to the team and staff as it really ended our Scottish Highlands trip on a wonderful note (and taste!)!!
