Beautiful setting, tucked away en route to Applecross Path. A friendly bunch. Welcomed like locals. Amazing home cooked food from the garden. Organic. Rich in flavour. A gift shop and garden centre (small) on site. And great coffee too. Perfect for lunch or dinner or a quick coffee before you carry on your travels.

Came for dinner having easily booked a table over email. Loved the approach to the restaurant, particularly at dusk with the fairy lights on. Had the biggest portion of hummus I’ve ever seen and then mains from the specials which was incredible. Staff were lovely, have told multiple people to go for dinner if passing by

Marvellous light lunch (starter) and tea & cake. Was very busy and therefore slow service but totally worth it

Great food in a very unique location. Plenty of options for all dietary requirements and friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

I know that this café/restaurant is in the Michelin guide and has great reviews but I felt very much that it's trading on its reputation when we had coffee there this morning. The choice of cakes with the coffee this morning was the gluten free brownie (the only option if you're GF...as usual 🙄), Lemon Drizzle slice (very sugary topping), Chocolate cornflake cake and a scone with jam & cream. IMHO that's not really good enough for a top quality café. There were various alternative milks - tick - for the latte but both of our saucers had chips in them and none of the cutlery matched. 2xlatte + 2xcake = £12. Reasonably pricey I thought for what was quite average. If I'd had it my my local caff I'd have expected what I got but I'd travelled a long way to partake of this recommended venue.

Brilliant place - been twice this summer. Beautiful garden, friendly staff, excellent menu for lunch or dinner (or coffee / cake / scones). E.g. local crab risotto, homemade leek/potato soup. Highly recommended.

A pleasant place, though I was disappointed with my food as it was burnt. (Toast is not difficult, if you burn it you throw it away and start again, you don’t serve it to customers!) Maybe I just got unlucky.

Outstandingly exquisite food of an amazing high quality in the most romantic of settings within a magical walled garden. A must foodie experience if you are travelling the NC500 - Wendy and Tim

A chance find but well worth the visit. Lovely peaceful setting and wonderful displays of flowers. Nice cafe serving a variety of main meals although we chose coffee and cakes which were good.
