The pizza we had was lovely and the portion sizes were generous. However, had the crab starter and it just didn't taste right. The customer service was spot on even though it was very busy. All in all, it wasn't a wow experience but definitely worth a try.

After entering we got shown to our seats, whilst being seated the to menu was on my the table,The waiter was good, excellent knowledge of the drinks, food took a while to come but that was expected after ordering as much as we did.Food came out was absolutely amazing.Took a while to take the empty plates and baskets but overall really good

Myself and my 12yr old daughter came for lunch on the 6th January. It was a miserable, wet and windy day on the Quay but On The Waterfront was open and the friendly staff were very efficient and helpful. It was a bit chilly inside but due to the size of the place and the fact its not exactly a busy time of year with lots of bodies to warm it up, it didn't ruin my visit. We will return again to try more of the menu.

Great range of starters and pizza toppings, plenty of vegetarian/vegan options among both. No seafood pizza toppings though which was surprising. They can do some GF pizzas too, I really enjoyed my Silciliano with extra pulled chicken.Really helpful staff who took care to double check allergens which was really appreciated.

Great food, lovely cocktails, friendly staff. Came on a Saturday evening and the service was a little slow. Jazzy atmosphere and lots of choice for vegetarians!

Went here on Saturday and to say I was disappointed is an understatement. I have eaten here before but would not eat on this visit. Was a beautiful autumnal day and wanted to sit outside and enjoy the view. There were plenty of empty tables but they were all dirty and littered with empty glasses and plates full of half eaten food. There was food and rubbish all over the floor (which the pigeons were enjoying). When mentioning this to the staff they were very abrupt with their answer. If they take no pride in front of house then God only knows what is going on in the kitchen.

Called in for a "Bin Lid Pizza" between two of us during our cycle ride along the Exe trail. It was delicious as was the Beer. The staff were friendly and efficient and we sat outside in the warm sunshine watching the world go by along the quay side. It's a vibrant setting and we loved the whole experience

Very nice pizza, lovely gentlemen serving and gorgeous setting. We were missing plates and cutlery and had to wait a little while to call someone to obtain them. The ambiance there was lovely and I've heard great things about the place. Unfortunately Ali oli never arrived and was being freshly made, I think I may need to go back if only to taste that!!We sat in a wonderful spot inside the door, the view was out onto the water and we could watch people drifting past. It wasn't idea that a family of 9 came and stood at the side of our chairs trying to get a table at peak time. Several waiting staff were serving so couldn't stop so they didn't ask them to move which was disappointing given the covid standards throughout the rest of the establishment were great. Staff wore masks, they were happy to help when available, drinks were served quickly and were on ice, perfect! I think another visit is required and a second meal sampled...with the Ali oli that we missed out on.

We visited with our daughter for a drink and a bite to eat, the service and food was really good, it was lovely to sit outside and enjoy the views as people walked, sailed and paddle boarded past. Such a lovely way to pass an hour. While we were there a group of women on a birthday celebration arrived and unfortunately started abusing the staff, the manageress quickly arrived and gave them a stern warning about their behaviour, advising they would not be served any more drinks. Sadly two of the women escalated the situation and were even more abusive to the manageress. I take my had off to her for the way she handled the situation, most of the women left leaving the two abusive ones and the manageress patiently stood and waited for them to leave while they abused and photographed her. Really handled the whole situation very well, and then apologised to all the customers. A++

Food was gorgeous! I’ve never had a pizza like the ones we did, jam packed with flavour and toppings as it should be and the cheese was dreamy. An abundant variety on the menu as well.Furthermore, the bathrooms are state of the art!
