The Waterside Hotel in Highland

The room was clean and roomy. It was tired and in need of a facelift. The shower was cold despite the hot water available. Evening meals in the pub were good but it is noisy, breakfast was not well cooked sadly

Great place food was lovely fresh and hot.. Waiting service was brilliant.. And it wasn't expensive at all

We stay here regularly to visit family. Facilities, rooms similar to a premier inn but a little tired decoratively. Very clean and spacious rooms with baths and showers. Breakfast is in the pub restaurant next door and there is a wide choice of cooked items alongside continental style options. Staff are great; welcoming, helpful and a credit to the company.

Stayed here for 3 nights and for two of the nights we ate in the bar and grill. The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

I like this place. I think it is underrated.With a great beer selection. Large eating area inside and out. A good choice when the sun is out.They have a board room, meeting room upstairs for hire.

Lovely looking place, free parking and great customer service. Other than being woken up by another guest trying to get into our room early hours nothing to complain about. Restaurant across the road which is connected did a great breakfast and again customer service there was great and friendly. Recommend if for nothing but the customer service. Second to none

Lovely place, friendly receptionists. The room was very tidy and clean and a really good size. Nice and quiet area. The bed was big and comfortable. Dinner and breakfast across the way was really nice, the staff were helpful and friendly. Nice place to stay and perfect for working away nearby.

Receptionist was pleasant and very helpful and the room was ok. Bed was comfortable but only one thin pillow each and the 2 spare pillows had no pillowcases on. The room was 'clean in parts'. There was lettuce and mayonnaise (could have been salad cream) on the menus for the pub next door plus bits of food on the chair and on the wall by the mirror, previous guests must have been messy eaters! Very unlikely to go back.... also food at pub next door was average at best.

Staff very friendly but unfortunately that’s the only good thing about this hotel. Rooms are very run down and in need of repair.Very strong smell of hash from one of the rooms on the ground floor. When reported to reception they could smell it but did nothing about it. Very disappointing as this hotel looks lovely from the outside.

relaxed atmosphere, felt very comfortable. staff on reception were excellent. room was spacious and clean. quiet. the bed was comfy. room a little too hot however a fan was provided. could of benefited having a coffee table next to the chair. restaurant just across the road. loved the designated covered smoking area outside. would recommend.
