Excellent Waiter/ Barman and VenueWe went for as a Hen party and pre booked our food, mine was fish and chips, the fish was fab. Our Barman was the friendliest and funniest staff member ever and really helped to make make event memorable. We requested to have a few bits added for the hen party and the table was dressed so nicely when we arrived.. Downstairs was a great laugh also, friendly woth a local and non local vibe.. thank you so much

5* service from the cheery server, to the choice of drinks, to the huge portions of delicious food... This place is amazing! Visited with a hen party of about 14 girls on a Sunday and we were accommodated so well! We most certainly will be back!

Stopped in for a quick bite and had some delicious soup, and a lovely platter of olives, breads and dipping oils. Super nice staff. Then went downstairs for a drink at the Bothy Bar which has a great selection of beers and ales and good cosy bothy vibes.

We only called in for a few beers. We had a nice time. The barman was entertaining and efficient. Good choice of beers. A very friendly atmosphere and we will definitely go back. Thanks.

What an incredible little gem of a place. We were delighted to secure a last minute table for three on Christmas Eve, thank you Ailsa for squeezing us in. Everything was delicious, seriously delicious. I had the fish and chips which was really light, my daughter had a vegetarian burger and my partner had the haggis, all were perfect, the sauce with the haggis particularly so. We were full but so glad we had room for some desserts .... sticky toffee pudding was to die for and I've never seen or tasted a more impressive cheese board. The chefs delivered a brilliant meal, thank you, and the service from Sean was excellent, very friendly and attentive and he ensured the restaurant atmosphere was upbeat positive and fun. A true asset to the winking owl and the industry. Overall, service was excellent, food was excellent, highly recommended. Thank you!

Went in for Sunday afternoon drinks, locals and bar staff were really welcoming. We had the dogs and they all made a big fuss over them, brining them water and offering the dogs a Sunday roast. Drinks reasonably priced and decor good would defo go back and recommend to anyone visiting Aviemore

We had dinner here last night and it was wonderful! The portions were a great size and the gentleman (who I believe was the bar manager) is absolutely fantastic! He is such a character and puts a smile on your face numerous times throughout your meal. Definitely stop in by! They also have a good selection of local Ales which is always fantastic.

We only went into the downstairs Bothy Bar, but it was lovely. Great range of local beers, gins and whiskies. Carl behind the bar was really helpful and we took up his suggestion of coming to watch the ceilidh band Tweed later in the week. Great music, great atmosphere.
