En route to John o groats we stopped off here at a friends recommendation we were pleasantly surprised at how pleasant the staff were and nothing was a problem the best fish and chips I’ve tasted in a long time 5 stars to the chef and waitress👍

Best place for having a little snack on the NC500. Felt very welcomed there. I can recommend any sandwich with fries. Best value for price.

Really supprised by this place. Not just a fish and chip shop. May be small but so mighty. I had lamb shank with mash and fresh veg, my husband had chicken amd haggis, both so delicious. The welcome was as hearty as the food. They do all this sit in or take away. We sat in and couldn't have asked for more. Highly recommended if you are in the area, booking is advised.

The staff were very friendly, providing us with good recommendations and lovely environment. The restaurant is a unique with an overwhelming element of cosines. The food was beautifully made with good portions. your basically being fed something your Nan would make for you, apart from your Nan has a michelin star.

Fabulous little place. Couldn't of been given a warmer welcome. Happy to accept dogs. Feel terrible for forgetting the lovely ladies name who served us but she couldn't of been anymore helpful. Full of local knowledge and recommendations for things to do.

Lovely cozy place for eating. Homemade and delicious food + plenty of cakes. Nice fresh menu. Thank you for lovely Crab and Camembert today. Also thank you very much from our sleeping princess paw. Very friendly staff. Pleasure to meet the owner. Good luck to you guys 🍀 hopefully see you next time again.

Good small restaurant, service is excellent, and the food is pretty good too. Menu is written on the boards in the shop so look around but to ask for specials as the lamb shoulder wasn’t on the menu.

We got some coffee and a Victoria sponge cake to take away as we didn’t have much time. The coffee selection is great, one of the best we have had in the Highlands, and they offer non-dairy milk (soya), which is really a plus for me! The cake was also delicious, super friendly staff. Definitely recommend this place!

What a success! Great and friendly service with tasteful dishes. There is no alcohol served, but you are allowed to bring your own or buy next doors in the little super market. It makes it very cheap. Don't hesitate when around. Visit this place!

Surprisingly nice and tasty stop over option on our drive to the north. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. While the place was full he ever offered to new forks coming in to cock something special to meet there dietary requirements.
