Wow 🤩This pub/restaurant is a real gem.Visited today for a Sunday lunch, ended up a three course Sunday lunch and the food was absolutely some of the best food we’ve ever had.The lentil & vegetable soup with homemade bread, the pulled lamb shoulder in a tomato and red wine marinade, and chocolate fondant - just delish.Highly recommend you go!Staff very friendly and great service.We’re going back before we go home!

Loved this place. Had a couple of beers myself but hubby driving so he couldn't. Asked if they did carry outs - they didn't have the normal carry out vessel so we had 2 pints wrapped in clingfilm which lasted back to dalmally - wonderful service

We went sent here by Jan and Daz from the Garragh Mhor, and we're so glad they did. Brilliant vegan options and excellent service. The menu had a couple of vegan options already but the chef offered us some additional options and we enjoyed our mushroom risotto and celeriac risotto dishes very much! The starters (mushroom soup and watermelon/mint salad) were lush. The manager kindly added a fourth flavour of sorbet to the trio we ordered, and we 'tasted' it for them - hope they add it to the menu, it was a fabulous mango flavour. This pub also has a Tesla charger (Type 2 / 22kw), the only downside being it's a very tight space to manoeuvre into - we struggled a bit but the management kindly moved their own cars to help us squeeze in. Very helpful as we have further to go on this trip. Highly recommend you book ahead and stop here for a meal.

Delicious lunch at Tigh An Truish on a rainy August day. The pub restaurant was simply but beautifully decorated with a calm, relaxed atmosphere. All tables fully booked so make sure you make a reservation. Had a starter of mussels with tomato and chorizo broth, served with fresh baked bread and butter - beautifully cooked and delicious smoky flavours. My main was steak, with a lemon herb butter, thick, golden chips and a light, fresh garden salad. Finished with a yummy rhubarb crumble and pouring cream. The young staff team were very professional, friendly and helpful. Would thoroughly recommend

First impressions are what a fantastic location right beside the Atlantic bridge . Really nice decor tastefully done. A warm welcome from Owen on front of house who is friendly , attentive and totally professional . Now to the food . Small menu and everything is cooked to perfection . Fish soup for starters was great with a good selection of fish . The beef burger was superb , really tasty , the way a proper burger should taste like . Didn't have a dessert simply because the size of portions are large and although I wanted one no room left . A good complaint to have . It's the same team behind Etive Restaurant in Oban so the same high standards .

What a breath of fresh air. We actually met the staff on a break on the beach where we anchored! Friendly then, and friendly in the lovely restaurant. Touch of genius is the menu. We and our guests loved the tapas and the wine choices. Spotless and tasteful surroundings. Brill

Exceptional food in a stunning location. Great covid safe measures and a nice garden for a quick drink before the meal! We had the delicious pheasant pie (and a doggy bag for the next days walk), but for me the standout memory will be those roasted beetroots. Rarely do you find somewhere that gives the veg the love it deserves and this was an example of that done to perfection. They were served soft from roasting, sweet and earthy, with a vibrant herb dressing and crunchy walnuts. Packed full of gorgeous flavours and textures. I'm already planning the next 450 mile journey so I can come back!

Had a fantastic meal in the Tigh-na Truish last night. The food was so fresh and full of flavour - most importantly it was all locally sourced. The simplicity of each dish allowed you to appreciate what you were eating. This is how we should be enjoying food produced in Argyll. Only in London have I experienced food to this standard. I will definitely be back.

Beautiful location next to the bridge over the atlantic.Benches are opposite the pub so you can sit next to the sea and enjoy the view.The pub looked to be having some work done inside when we went so I can't comment on the seating inside.There is a sanitizer station just outside the door.We just stopped for a drink here but the prices were reasonable and the barmaid was lovely and friendly.Cash only as the card machine was faulty so I'd recommend to keep some cash in your purse/wallet just in case.
