Wetherspoons the Great Glen in Highland

Food wasn't the best and my cocktail was quite horrible . Staff were okay , no one questioned me when I had to order another drink so quickly . I would of asked the customer if everything was OK with the drink that wasn't touched . Not even on clearing the table did someone ask. It was a prosecco cocktail and the prosecco was flat , the taste didn't rescue the drink either.I could of said but i was too tired from my journey but I cant leave a dishonest review

Got turned away initially as didn't have a face mask, after returning with face mask we sat down for food to see a group of 5 young guys enter after us only 1 had a face mask bit were served no problem. A bit of consistency required.Food was ok if it all arrived. Charged for x2 portions of onion rings and not informed until we asked that they were sold out. Not refunded the price of them

Tables not cleaned, no consistency on mask wearing, pulled me up for the 10 step journey from front door to seat yet let loads of others walk around the pub with no masks. Staff lazy and chatting too much, only one nice male staff member who was jolly, rest were miserable and rude

We ate here last night and it was the pits. They had run out of most of things on menu but didn't tell us when we first arrived. No salad for garnish, no fish, scampi, currys, steaks, mixed grill, gammon steaks They basically had burgers and pasta. Service was also shocking - we sat for 45 mins with dirty plates infront of us before we eventually put them on the empty table next to us. We did complain about it to barstaff who just shrugged their shoulders. Very disappointing.

No music or any background noise other than peoples conversations. Service was a bit slow and meals arrived separately, I understand it was two separate tickets but when placed one after the other it shouldn’t be hard to send the food together.

Nothing exciting to eat here, but the area is generally difficult to find seating for dinner if you haven't booked. It's nice enough if you are hungry and the staff is very friendly. Would probably not eat gere again, but for one evening it was okay.On the more positive note, the food and drinks were extremely cheap. Further, they had calory intake on every item on their menu, which was pretty cool.

Very decent Wetherspoons. Staff friendly, clean and cheap. Perfect for a breakfast fuel up before heading up Ben Nevis.

Excellent , modern well run Wetherspoons. As a result very popular.The food was very well cooked and nice,drink well kept..(Where Wspoons in general are a bit behind the competition is in the presentation of their good value food offering.A little garnish or somethings would add attractiveness to the food, but not cost much.)

Absolutely loved this place. Stunning views and had the pleasure of meeting Steve ( aka Nessie hunter ). Fascinating visit & had to buy one of Steve's handmade ornaments ( bit overpriced but each one is a one off. Highly recommended
