Always the place for pies, pasties, fancy wee cakes or sandwiches and a selection of soft drinks/crisps, superb staff.

·

Stopped off in Elgin for a coffee and a tea. We enjoyed both and I had a piece of caramel shortcake which was yummy.

·

Was in in passing the other day and got a Jock (Scotch) pie for a wee snack. As they looked good I asked for two and set off down the High street. Was not disappointed: the pie was brilliant and to connoisseurs of the genre to be recommended.Watsons bakery in Govan comes to mind and a Baker in Calender who do proper versions not with ordinary minced beef.Should have bought a dozen but as Arnie says "I'll be back".Angus
