Crown & Anchor in Moray

Went in to an almost empty bar, the guy behind the bar gave us a look of disdain, when we asked for a table he told us they were busy! Apart from the 4 gentlemen that walked in infront of us, the place was empty. No way to run a business.

Room was lovely with a pretty sea view, food was good, service was friendly, no complaints and would definitely recommend.

We were in on Sunday. Food was brilliant and so was the service. The girl who served us was very good, very friendly and very helpful. We went with my 6 year old and the kids menu was great for her. The girl was very friendly to her as well! Would definitely recommend and will definitely go again! thank you!

Food is exellent fish is amazing mac and cheese was amazin service is good food was quick. portion size was brilliant the guy that owns it is lovley makes u feel so welcome defo worth a try and a visit

Lovely pub with really friendly staff. Went for lunch and the food was excellent. Great choice of gins and whiskey too.

My husband and I in Findhorn for the weekend. In the Crown twice - lovely meals both times with excellent range of choices. Throughly recommend phoning to book. Host excellent.

Great food, Fin is very welcoming. Room nice. Only downside is lack of breakfast but there is a great cafe a short walk along the coast

I would not give this place any stars as the manager as I walked in was very rude to myself and didn't make me feel welcome. I was about to ask for menus to sit outside with my family but he was more concerned about my daughter that went into use the toilet before I filled out the covid check in as she was desperately needing the toilet. I was in Findhorn on holiday as I do every year but this is not the first time the manager has made myself and family leave due to attitude and being rude. Not recommended.

Brilliant food and atmosphere. We had fish and chips and the food was fresh. They were also closing food wise and made the effort to cater fish and chips for us which was deeply appreciated. Would recommend and go back again. Food is delicious and it's a brilliant homely gastropub.

they had just closed their restaurant but they realised nothing else was open(bank holiday Sunday) when we arrived and made us the freshest Haddock oh so perfectly cooked. we are eternally greatful and will 100% visit again for whiskey tastings and just to sit in this stunning and cosy place with excellent food. the nicest people. Thankyou. x. the pics were taken after we started tucking in. you can see how perfectly cooked the fish was. and insanely the salad was really amazingly flavoured.
