We received a very warm welcome from the hosts at the Delnashaugh even though we turned up much later than expected. They even offered to keep the kitchen open late for us as we were so hungry from the long walk from Grantown, and the food was hearty and lovely (and the hosts were very considerate of vegetarian requirements etc). The room was very large and comfortable, and the views out the window were just astonishing. The staff were all so friendly and chatty, had great recommendations for local drinks, and the breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious. We would definitely recommend the Delnashaugh to anyone passing through Ballindaloch.

From the moment we arrived to the time we’d left, Andrew was a fantastic host. Nothing was too much trouble and the hotel was well presented. Good place to stay anytime.

After a long day on the river Spey, with weather being pretty grim, the hotel and reception was more than we expected. Great food, a well stocked bar and a comfortable bed were the perfect remedy. A beautiful view greated us in the morning and we were sad to move on. Thanks for a great stay!!

Didn't stay in the hotel, just came for dinner, and the food was delicious. I got the steak pie (which is not actually a pie. Americans would probably call it pot roast) and it was tender and deliciously salty. They even put a banner across the table for me when I mentioned it was my birthday. The bar area is cozy with couches and a fireplace where you can sit and have a drink while waiting for your table. Cozy and adorable and delicious, definitely would return.
