Franklin's Restaurant at Cluny Bank in Moray

Absolutely terrible attitude from the receptionist/manager right from the start, i phoned up to book a room, she starts raising her voice at me for no reason, acts like im a person with disabilities, then puts the phone down and starts speaking bad about me to someone in the background

Visited with my wife for 2 nights and had a wonderful stay. Loved the breakfast, particularly the special porridge with honey and whisky. 🤤 Big bedroom with classic features. Overall fantastic value for money, would visit again!

Six of us had dinner in the restaurant, the food was excellent, best we have had for a long time. Staff were great, the chef in particular was a real character and made it a night to remember.

Stayed at Cluny Bank with my husband for my birthday last weekend. Absolutely loved the place. The host Julia & Lloyd were superb. The food was excellent. I would thoroughly recommend staying here. Nothing was too much trouble. Loved It!

One of the best hotels we have stayed in! Had a lovely big deluxe room with a very comfortable bed! The owners Lloyd and Jules were the perfect hosts, so friendly and accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was amazing as was our evening meal. Lloyd Was also the chef and the little extra touches added to the wonderful experience of dining here. Thoroughly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in this area. Thankyou both for making our stay so memorable...❤

Warm, welcoming owners. Beautiful old house with comfortable and well serviced rooms. Fabulous food, Inc, game and seafood freshly prepared by a very knowledgeable and approachable chef. Loved my stay.

I have to travel all over the world with my food business and I have seen some fantastic places. At the end of any day you need somewhere to stay. The Cluny Bank Hotel is a gem. The Hotel is small and inviting and the hosts add to what makes this place special. If you want a personal touch Julia and Lloyd hit the mark. I am in the food business and Lloyd will impress any Foodie with his dishes and discussions. I came here for work and felt like I was on holiday... Thank You.

I had the pleasure of attending a Christmas lunch at the Cluny Bank Hotel and I have to say, it was simply stunning. The hotel itself is lovely with a real home-like feel and an air of distinction. The food was first-class and was served by friendly staff in a lovely, comfortable dining room. The chef had obviously put his heart and soul into each dish and was overjoyed when he saw that we had savoured every bite. This is an outstanding hotel in a lovely town and I would recommend it to anyone.
