Gordon Castle Walled Garden’s Cafe in Moray

Lovely lunch, a bit slow but we weren’t in a hurry. The gardens are beautiful and can’t wait to return in the summer.

We popped in for "coffee and cake" last Thursday, and we're very disappointed in the traybakes we were served. One, some sort of Tiffin looked most off putting - the chocolate covering was in bits and the base was so sticky it was really messy to eat. The brownie was the most tasteless we had ever eaten.

A wonderful family friendly place. Lovely, helpful staff, wonderful gardens, children's play area and superb coffee shop. Cheese scones are ace.

Was a lovely summer's day on 22nd June when we visited but sadly neither the tea room nor the gift shop was open. No notice of this on exterior signage. May have delayed our visit if known in advance. Lots of gardening crew out renewing the planting so not fully able to appreciate the beauty this early in the season

Long overdue review. We celebrated our daughters first birthday here and the food great. We all had a lovely time! The manager Rozlynn is the sweetest person very accommodating and was very very helpful. 5 stars just for her! It's a beautiful place to visit and enjoy some tea. Would recommend

This is without question one of the finest garden restorations still in progress. The magnificent flower borders are a sensory feast of colour, texture and perfume, height variation and form - and the mix of vegetable and flower plantings in the vegetable borders are magnificent. The range, too, changes subtly across the seasons - go soon to get the lavender beds at their maximum! Couple this with an excellent cafe and great entertainment for kids and you have a perfect combination for all the family.

One if the best places to visit in Moray. Amazing food, coffees and treats. Friendly staff. The gardens are magnificent from April until October.

It's a lovely place to visit. I went to see The Great Gatsby there, it was such a shame it was cold and damp

The road to access is narrow with two-way traffic, but beautiful scenery. Plenty of parking with large parking spaces. The garden itself is really well maintained and laid out, with a vast array of plants, flowers, trees, fruits and vegetables. It's a really pleasant walk with a little grass maze and play area for smaller kids. There's a little tea room/cafe, a shop and a shop.Highly recommended for a relaxing and scenic walk, all the while accompanied by the wonderful smells of the garden.
