Great to see the inner workings of a historic family business. Very interesting tour and a great afternoon tea. Well worth the visit.

Beautiful and top quality cashmere clothes collection in two shops. One of the shops sells products with reduced prices. In near vicinity there is a factory where you can book a visit and get an idea about the demanding production process.

Always a treat to stop off here. Beautifully restored, beautiful food, lovely staff and keep coming with the cashmere bundles! Keeps my seamstress daughter happy and those that receive her gifts!

A wonderful shop for many clothing items especially cashmere goods. The shop often has good sales events. The car park is quite large. There is a vibrant cafe here which has extensive seating and a full menu. The food is delicious and always quickly served.

The very best and unique survivor of high quality tweed, wool, cashmere and vicuña. Mr. Johnston started the Elgin Mill at the River Lossie in 1797 by which he started a legacy of craftsmanship and exquisite fabrics. This unique firm is still succesful in the cost driven world if today by focussing on the very best materials an fabrics.Although we were late we still got a free exclusive tour. Our guide Harris showed us the major part of the factory and warehouse with enthusiasm and he aswered all questions with a good sense of humor. The factory is impressive and still makes use of some old but well maintained equipment mixed with modern machinery. You cannot help yourself spending some hard earned cash in the well stocked shop later. The shop itself is both elegant as it is logically laid out. The is something in every price range, from expensive to very expensive ;-) all beautifully presented. . Friendly staff.Free parking. Small coffee shop and picnic tables on lawn too.

Great range of materials and high quity paints. Excellent accessibility to both shops and coffee shop. Breakfasts, lunches, cakes and afternoon teas available at reasonable prices. Excellent customer service. Highly recommended.

A famous mill and shop, offering pieces of wool and cashmere really really nice. Expensive. But good quality. Specially jerseys and scarfs. Also a shop of things for the house really nice. Obliged visit when in Elgin. Highly recommended to visit how the things are done.
