Mansion House Hotel Restaurant in Moray

Excellent food, facilities and accommodation. Only issue was the 4 poster bedrooms which is beautifully decorated it needs to have some seriously de-musting. Beautiful room but smelt like it hadn't been used for a long time, like the 1800's.

Really nice room, huge bed. Clean. Decor in keeping with the building. Breakfast cooked to order. Would highly recommend.

Such a great hotel. I stayed here numerous times during lockdown, and after, and there is little that Kay will not do, to ensure your stay is wonderful.

At at a friend's celebration, staff lovely and the set up and decor grand. Ran out of lager early not so good for a big party🙄 but would recommend

We loved our two night stay at Mansion House Hotel. Friendly staff, couldn't do enough for you. Very wecolming, room gorgeous, very clean, warm and cosy. Breakfast plentiful, fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals, cooked breakfast. Beautiful place full of character and short walk to the centre. I would recommend this hotel and would definitely book again.

Lovely meal, my venison burger was slightly overdone I think, but nonetheless still delicious. And the waiter we had was super lovely and seemed to genuinely love his work and what he does. Give that man a raise. Always happy to help with anything.The place itself is set on a lovely set of grounds and I couldn't fault the place. Seriously recommend going here for food.

This hotel must be one of the nicest and friendliest I have stayed at. Reception staff very friendly and professional. Waiting staff very friendly and cheery.Room was spot on, yes it is an old Mansion House so you expect character. The room was well laid out ...looked perfect. The modern bathroom complimented the room. Comfortable bed with plenty of pillows...big TV with DVD player....free WiFi. Tea & coffee.Food - I was only booked for the breakfast and I have to say I had the most perfect poached eggs. I did not use the restaurant as I was on business with clients but the menu looked good and prices competitive.I would definitely stay at this hotel again with my wife.I was originally booked to stay in the Travelodge but the booking was cancelled so I lucked in big time.Thank you it has been a pleasure staying here.

We stayed at the Mansion House Hotel last week our stay was wonderful the all the staff were wonderful the housekeeping staff were fantastic our room was always spotless they do a great job.The evening meal we had was truly delicious the breakfast were really enjoyable.I would like to thank the owner for going far and beyond for us.We left a couple of items in our room l phoned the hotel he said he would send them to me.Thank you so much for all your helpthey arrived in tact this morning.We definitely stay there again.Christina and Terry

Stayed here 3 nights, hotel is classed as 4 star. Hotel very basic, very musty smell throughout corridors to room. Swimming pool or gym not in use. Windows/ woodwork badly needs maintained and decorated. Carpets badly required cleaned/ re-newed. Snooker table badly torn in few areas. Breakfast was ok, didn’t eat at night. Price is way above what it’s worth.

The building is beautiful from the outside and is situated beside a river on one side and modern houses and a Tesco on the other. The building inside is beautiful in some areas however does need some care and attention in other areas. We had a lovely big room on the ground floor with a four poster bed and access out into the garden which was good, however the garden area out there was very overgrown. Our room was very clean and comfortable alhough it did require some maintenance attention. We had an evening meal there which was nice, nothing fancy but it was generous, well presented and tasty. Breakfast was good and again generous. The pool and spa were closed so I didnt try them. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. I would stay again.
