Hands down the best fish and chips in Moray, fish is ALWAYS fresh, the batter is perfectly crispy, chips are also perfect, curry sauce is insanely tasty and the staff are attentive, kind and hard working. And best of all it comes in a box so if you have to drive 15+ mins your f&c isn't soggy. They've put thought into everything and it couldn't be better! I'd eat it every week if I lived closer!

5 stars just dosn’t seem enough for this chip shop, Iv just had the best fish ever! Batter was just perfect! Fish was really fresh! Highly recommended and il definitely be back! Well done!

Love coming back here when we visit Scotland, fantastic staff very helpful, best fish and chips

Lovely tasting chips, huge fresh haddock but it was let down by the mushy peas! What's happened to the peas??? I've not been to the Portknockie chip shop since 2019 because of covid. Their mushy peas were THE best but this time they tasted like those awful bright green processed peas found in tins, and were hard and not at all mushy.

Fabulous fish suppers and "pop pop" speciality battered chicken, prawns and more. Freshly cooked. Definitely worth ordering ahead especially at busy times.

The best Haddock ,Scampi , Chips , and home made curry sauce for many a mile .Very glad we were recommended to visit . Excellent service as well as great value for money .One more walking advert for the efforts put in by the team.

Lovely meal here. Posh fish supper portion too much for my hubby but having ate here last September we were aware of this so I ordered the OAP fish and we shared his chips! Unlike some other chipshops, no greasy after taste either just full bellies 😋

We had one of the nicest chip suppers here during our short stay in Portknockie. The kids enjoyed pop pop chicken, fishcakes, chicken fillets, nuggets and sausage which was all freshly cooked and tasted great. The fish suppers were delicious - not at all greasy and again - really fresh. Ended up with more than we could eat as the staff very kindly gave us the spare chips and chicken which were leftover (we were the last customers of the day). The staff were helpful, friendly and replied to our questions through Messenger. Good system to accommodate the need for social distancing. Wpild whole heartedly recommend.

Very good fish and chips. Batter very light and tasty, not greasy. Pies and sausages are expensive, compared to Manchester prices, but seem to be in line with other chippies in the area. Chips acceptable, freshly cooked. Good service, i will be back. Probably the best for miles around, not the best I have been to hence not 5 stars. Will be back next time I am in the area.
