Nice little cafe, serving the famous Cullen Skink soup. Very welcome on the rather cold day we all went there. A few antique shops right next to the cafe were quite interesting. The place remained me of Duff town where Glenfiddich distillery is located.

Rockpool is fairly local to us but due to Covid we haven't been in over 2 years. Its best to book ahead as it is popular. Anyway, the servers were lovely and attentive. We both enjoyed the fish and chips and will be returning to sample the rest of the menu. It was good to be back.

Great little place to visit. Very good food, with a menu that suits everyone. Hot BLT sandwich was excellent. Very busy, if you are looking for a quiet lunch, you need to think about time of day. People coming in constantly, meaning the door was open through most of our meal. Some tables a little too close together. The food and prices make theses issues well worth it. Friendly and welcoming staff do a good job, rushed off their feet.

Best breakfast ever, sausages and black pudding was really nice, so had to stay for cake and coffee. Really friendly staff and lovely clean place. Looking forward to going back for lunch.

·

Honestly the best breakfast I have had in a very long time. The staff were lovely and the place itself is beautiful and well decorated. I will definitely be stopping by again.

Best example of thriving small business in the area. The food is crisply fresh and warmly nutritious. The staff are the most accommodating as can be and then there's the wallpaper!!! Where did you get that wallpaper?! The perfect back drop to the quirky paintings locally inspired.

Lovely café, friendly staff, delicious Cullen skink.

Pleasant Saturday afternoon visit; place was very busy (reserving a table in advance is essential), which made it also very noisy, but that could have been an issue with hearing aids adjustment as majority of patrons seem to be wearing those, that, or they make pensioners plain rowdy these days; Cullen Skink, which seems mandatory in this place, was really good, also happy with our smoked fish platter and fish&chips day and night compared to the chippy located nearby

We are here on holiday like the reviews and decided to prebook glad I did I preordered the Cullen skink which was probably the best I can remember having anywhere in Scotland and we shared a smoke fish platter consisting of smoke mackerel hot smoked salmon cold smoked salmon and Sherry soaked herring with hunks of bread all delicious saved by lovely waitress all the staff we’re very friendly and helpful

Got a take away mocha and 2 slices of cake after the Findlater Castle walk. Excellent cafe with a decent menu, the cakes on offer were great and my mocha was also very good.Totally recommend if you’re in the area based on my visit although it was brief. There is ample parking, Wi-fi and a dog bowl of water provided.
