WOW. So happy we found this place. Excellent food and cocktails. The flank steak special is pictured here and may be my favorite meal of my Scotland trip so far! 😍😍😍

Absolutely great! Very welcoming and accommodating and thoughtful attention to detail. Good food. Lovely atmosphere and decor. Live music in open courtyard, at certain times. Highly recommended.

Fantastic food. A wee bit of a wait as the restaurant was fully booked bit so worth it. The grilled chicken with foraged mushroom risotto will definitely be sampled again!

We had an exceptional valentines meal here last night. The valentines menu was unique and real well thought out. Starting with love cocktails!! Then my stone bass followed by a chicken dish was delicious and interesting like you see on masterchef. They even provided a rose and card that I could give my ❤. A really lovely touch to a memorable evening.Thank you.

Food was absolutely beautiful 👌We had to sit at a table at the bar, this didn't bother us but I guess others would find that a bit crowded.

Superb!! We didn't book on a cold Monday evening in November and had to eat outside as all the indoor tables were taken. That a November Monday night is full gives a very good introduction to how the tavern is appreciated locally! Outside we were protected from the elements by huge awnings and with large heaters above every table. We weren't cold nor too hot either.I had haggis bonbons as a starter and an absolutely superb Highland Venison loin for main. The loin was served pink with carrots, broccoli and butter braised potatoes from Roseisle. One of the best meals I've eaten this year. Staff were friendly and attentive, and knew their menu well. Felt like friends and that's a great skill!

Incredible food! Whilst staying in the area we went into Elgin twice and ate here both times because the food was so good. Extremely friendly staff and the restaurant is dog friendly.

Visited this wee place with my wife. The Sunday Roast looked Fantastic but unfortunately the meat and the Yorkshire pudding were a big let down both were tough too eat looking at what other people were eating I wish I had ordered something else All the other dishes looked Fabulous but on the plus side the pudding was Brilliant 👏
