The Galley in Moray

Been coming here for years when we visit, something has happened, new ownership? Food preposterously overpriced, not fresh not good. A microwave fish and chips out of co-op would have tasted 10 X better at half the price, avoid.These guys should just shut down and go on benefits, they surely can't be making money selling utter rubbish like this?, sad 😔

This chipshop is the best in lossiemouth, food tastes great and the owner is a gentleman. Highly recommemd to anyone who lives here or visiting.

Suppers tasted delicious!My husband ordered the fish and I ordered the jumbo sausage, both cooked to perfection.Staff were lovely and are obviously a close working team.We loved listening to the banter while we waited..we are from Glasgow so loved the accent.Place is spotlessly clean,staff were cleaning when we waited.Here for a few days on holiday will definitely be visiting again.Highly recommend!!

Fish and chips came quick..... so no long wait like some places in Lossie. Fish ok, chips could be bigger, mushy peas....good portion size. Found a lot of small crunchy chips towards the end of the meal. Staff really friendly. Prices ok for Lossie. Yes, I would go again.

The owner and his staff at this fish and chip shop could not have been nicer. They were busy cleaning the place from top to bottom. We had fish suppers and the famous east coast ‘mealie pudding’ suppers. Everybody agreed that our food was amazing... hot, fresh and tasty.Try the Galley....you’ll be glad you did....

Beautiful fish and chips, ordered via phone and collected all in good time. Busy with locals, always a good sign! One member of the party went for a deep fried margarita for the experience which was a good one! Highly recommend 😋

Been here a few times when I was young and now when I come back to visit its the best place for your local fish and chips. Have yet to try the complete menu but no rush eh? Friendly staff, covid safe. What more could you ask for.

Very good chipper for a price! Highly recommended if you’re visiting this town. Fish tasted fresh, well cooked. Was surprisingly cheaper than most chip shops around as well - definitely will order again.

This is by far the best fish supper I've ever had. I'm from Fife and people rave about Anstruther chippy. I thought it was good until I had been here. Absolutely by a long shot the best I've ever tried!!!
