Not what expected from a Nicholson pub. Food was below average, left half of it as felt wasn't cooked enough. My table was sticky with ring marks from previous glasses. Toilets untidy and not very fresh. Staff were friendly but I wouldn't go back.

Had a tasty Katsu curry. Lovely. My granddaughter ordered a burger, corn on the cob and mashed potato. She got chips instead of potato and the corn was cold. This was soon sorted out when we mentioned

Was in the Granary last week for dinner, had a great visit. The food was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. A girl with long brown hair, think she was the one in charge, didn’t get her name but she had a daisy lab yard on. She was amazing she couldn’t have been more helpfully and was able to answer any of our questions about the menu and the wine list. We both ended up having steaks, which were cooking perfectly, and the bottle of Rioja wine the girl recommended complemented the meal in the best way possible. She is definitely an asset to the pub, a great member of their team. We will definitely be back soon.

Visited The Granary on Friday the 12th. Was out with some girl-friends for a few early Christmas drinks and a meal. The food was amazing as usual. Fish and chips is the best in the area by a long shot. The lovely Alex was serving us and she was just amazing too, she couldn’t have been more helpfully. Such a lovely girl, definitely made our visit a pleasure and because of that I will definitely be back. Can’t wait to try their new Christmas cocktail… Thank you again Alex for your 5 star service.

Pretty terrible service. Walk in the door and am told to wait to be seated. Ask the lad for a breakfast menu and he hands me it, goes about to take an order which I don't mind at all, but then comes back and completely ignores me and seats the party who are standing behind me.I order a cooked breakfast and a tea and wait 40 minutes to be told the breakfast hasnt been put through. They knew I was having it though as they game me sauces for it 30 mins prior? The woman on was lovely and comped me the cup of tea but honestly the lad and the cook were rude from the get go.

The food was nice and the staff were friendly, but due to delivery they didn't mention that the curry would be served without rice until it was served. This was after we had worked around what was available from their menu. Also a few sides didn't come (again out of stock) and had to ask for them to be removed from the bill at the desk when paying.
