The Mill House Hotel & Restaurant in Moray

Very friendly, efficient staff, quick service, lovely decor. Food well presented and tasty. Had an issue with the venison, very tough, addressed this with the Chef and he agreed. Spoke to the Owner who was fantastic. Apart from this we'll worth a visit.

A very nice room, i slept well. I did not use the dining room so i do not know what the food and service is like.

Great food. Waiters stayed calm under pressure. I enjoyed seeing a woman being really loud steaming one night then very meek the next morning . Wish I could give 5.5 stars but here we are

Passed this place a number of times and decided to give it a try for lunch. Food was great and service great too. Only downside I would say is the restaurant wasent very well signposted and is slightly hidden away at the back. Would definitely return.

Service a little bit slow but it was the day before Valentine's Day and the place was busy. Staff very helpful and friendly - very young so understandably not too knowledgeable about the drinks . Cullen Skink starter a little disappointing but main (Classic Millhouse burger) very good. Didn't have a desert. 4 stars

The meal was nice and the staff attentive. A greyhound dog which was a pet was allowed in the eating area which spoilt the evening as my husband is allergic to cats and dogs although they would not have known that. I personally don't think dogs should be allowed ln an eating area and there were no signs to say they are allowed and there was nothing on the website

First time stopping at the Mill House and it definitely won't be the last time we visit this lovely place. Stephen and staff made our week's stay special nothing was to much such a friendly atmosphere. The Full Scottish breakfast was superb and the Food in the restaurant was fantastic we ate there 4 nights out of our week's stay. The Venison and the Fillet steak was delicious melted in one's mouth . Can't wait to come back again Thank you so much Stephen for a generous wonderful week.

Perfect for an evening meal for two. Nice setting and friendly staff. The food was great and was very impressed with the Venison which melted in the mouth (highly recommend you try it). The only reason for giving 4* was that the service was quite slow otherwise would have been 5/5.

Thank you for a very memorable experience. I stayed here with my three dogs who really enjoyed the beautiful country walks. We were made to feel extremely welcome and comfortable. This is a lovely hotel with a great restaurant and bar. The food was excellent. The rooms are really clean and pleasant. All the staff are kind and friendly. I want to say a big thank you, especially to the lovely lady who was up at the crack of dawn preparing and serving breakfast, re-stocking the rooms and running the reception who advised me the best place to take the dogs for a run. You were so helpful and I think you are a star! Thank you x

Had a lovely meal here. Staff were very friendly and service was great. Food was delicious. We had the Cullen Skink which was lovely - full of smoked haddock. We also had the steak & ale pie and chicken korma, also very generous helpings. Would definitely go back.
