The cakes were excellent and service friendly. The only thing we didn't like is the milk being in plastic sachets - you need at least three or four per cup and it seems wasteful. We would have preferred a real cup too, rather than disposable ones.

Fantastic cafe. Staff are super friendly and helpful, and the food is so delicious. We had a mezze which was lovely, as was the almond cake dessert. Highly recommended for a Kirkwall refreshment pit stop.

If I could give this café a 50 stars I would!!!Absolutely the best ( Birthday) cake I've had in years and years plus it was gluten free 🖐️Kristi was the perfect waitress and totally well informed on any foods or drinks on the menu. The best experience of eating out in very long time. Will be back without hesitation 🎂

Been in Kirkwall visiting my Nephew and his Fiancée, we were very lucky to be able to book twice (you need to book). My sister loves the Cullen Skink and for me, the toasties. Mother and daughter team who work so well together, if you’re lucky enough to eat there, you’re in for a treat!

Wonderful food. Fantastic tomato soup and fudge chocolate brownie, all cooked in the premises. Just awesome food.

·

Wonderful little place with food made in a kitchen that is in view. I can easily recommend the three-cheese-frittata and the vegetarian meze platter that I had. The coffee is great too.

Great gluten free options! Had a lovely chat with the lady about the new gluten free cake I had, which was delicious, and she told me about her process to perfect the GF baked goods - clearly very dedicated to helping coeliacs out, which is refreshing to see!

Wonderful charming little cafe and restaurant. So friendly and welcoming people. The moment you arrive, someone will explain the food and ask for drinks. Everything was fast, really fast. It was busy and it looked like everyone enjoyed the food, coffee and atmosphere as we did. Food menu seems to change often and we had Cullen Skink to share. Very tasty and because we told the waiter that we will share, it was given to us in two bowls. How nice is that? Frittata and Salmon as main course was very good as well.Coffee is very special here. It is an extraordinary tasty Arabica coffee with very little bitter compounds.

We had to wait for quite a while to get our food. Soup and main was ok, chocolate cake was delicious.

Scones were delicious, the place is cozy and comfy. Staff were lovely and welcoming. Good place for kids and adults alike.
