Pierowall Hotel Restaurant in Orkney Islands

Good basic grub.Well cooked and well presented.Friendly staff.

Fantastic place, little haven in the middle of Peirowall. We didn't stay here but had raving reviews from a couple we got talking to who were staying here. We did, however, eat at the restaurant and were very impressed. Staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the food is good and reasonably priced. Local produce is used wherever it can be too. Car park is directly across, and if you're staying anywhere in or near Pierowall it's easy walking. Very highly recommend, a wonderful oasis in the cold and wind!

Here for dinner as ferry got cancelled. Had the beef chilli and rice. And syrup sponge and custard. Really tasty.

Lovely hotel with some of the best seafood I have ever tasted. Highly recommended.

Excellent meals and very friendly staff. Brought our bag to ferry after we had left it in restaurant.

We have been coming here for past 40 years, when on the island, many a special occasion we've celebrated here, and on each occasion I've left feeling satisfied I've had good value for money.

I stayed here with a very small group almost two years ago and still think of it often. We went for a beautiful long coastal walk nearby and returned to have a drink at the B&B with a good hot meal together after. The room was nice and clean. And the plane ride to get to the island very fun.

A bustling bar and nice dining at peaceful Westray village. We had lunch after a day of golf. The battered haddock was the best fish I had ever had. Try some Orkney craft beer if you like.

Great small pub & restaurant that has everything you'd need for a stay. We had a fantastic dinner there, with three courses and coffee (served in Westray pottery!) at a really reasonable price. Weirdly we were encouraged to book but when we did, we returned in the evening to find there was no knowledge of our booking! Didn't matter though, staff were great.
