Stromness Chinese Takeaway in Orkney Islands

Staff was polite, but we couldn't pay by card and the food wasn't great. I enjoyed it though.

Food is okay, good variety and larger menu.

How is this 'authentic' Chinese food? No Asian staff to be seen. Cash only

I personally can't rate this service more highly. The staff are always extremely helpful, particularly Reece a local gentleman. I have been served by others and unfortunately I haven't been met with the same high standards. I always get the correct order when I get it through that staff member and I particularly appreciate his helpful nature.The food itself is such a fantastic variety and I personally really appreciate that they cater for Vegans and Vegetarians. I absolutely love having this on my doorstep. Very fast service, really fresh delicious food. Thank you to all involved.

Decent food, good value for money, friendly staff

We had dinner last week as a takeaway,one of the best Chinese we had had in a long time.Quantity is too good, quick service within 10 min... Highly recommend

The tofu dish had four pieces of tofu (of maybe ten in total) that were rock hard and presumably were reused / refried, inedible. Chips were the frozen variety but ok and big portion

The food was really delicious, the prices were very good as well. Ordered and was ready to pick up after 10 mins. The location is a little difficult to get to by car as the streets are quite narrow but other than that, a solid takeaway.

A welcome treat, having just come off the ferry, from Hoy, after a day of walking and cycling there. Food lovely and fella at counter, very friendly and welcoming. Gave it four stars as only had the chance to try one dish

The only place left in Stromness where you can get takeaway fish & chips on a weeknight, but the fish isn't very good - roughly 7:3 batter to fish ratio.Someone else in our group had a mixed curry which was apparently very nice, so maybe best to stick to the Chinese options on the menu however great your craving for fish & chips is..Service was very quick, however, even on an obviously busy evening
