Hallelujah! A coffee shop open before 9AM! For folks fresh off the ferry ⛴ this is The Place to get your hot drinks & morning yummies. Grateful for their kind service.

I'll have to drop you a star because I ordered a tea and got a mug of Lukewarm water with a tea bag on the saucer next to it. I could put my finger in the water and hold it there, you can't make tea like that. Put the water,.just off the boil, straight onto the tea bag. Sandwiches were fine.

Excellent breakfast this morning, after getting off Northlink ferry. Best porridge I've ever had! Staff were lovely and friendly and everything was really clean. Definitely visiting again. Thank you

Just arrived on overnight ferry, great place to have an early breakfast. Tables outside so good as we had our dog with us. Very friendly staff and great service and food.

Delicious porridge with plenty of berries, perfect filter coffee, gorgeous home-made fruit scone and friendly staff. No wonder there were a gaggle of people waiting outside! Thoroughly recommend.

Popped in here as we had been walking about looking for something to eat for about an hour and was advised to go here by the Tourist Info centre.Went in and initially the place seemed vibrant and friendly but then that quickly dissipated. We received no welcome or interaction from the staff member serving us and from the start she seemed completely disinterested in us even being there. Our whole order was taken to then be told that the stuff we ordered couldn't be given to us. We went back and forth, having to speak through what we wanted with 2 staff members at this point before we settled on taking 2 panini's and 2 coffees. When the paninis arrived with our coffees, they looked like they had been thrown on the plate and the contents of one of the coffee were half decanted on to the saucer it came on and came to just shy of £20 for both.Overall the service was pretty dire, the food served a purpose and the coffee was, to be fair, very nice coffee. I'd not be making any point of rushing back however.

Delicious!! Let's try!Every Wednesday @peerieshopcafe make reestit mutton soup, a dish unique to the Shetland Islands. Each butcher has its own secret recipe for making reestit mutton, but before the middle of the 1970s, this process was something done at home.

Loved this venue. Friendly service, good selection of food. Did not enjoy the mutton soup but that is personal preference and not taking away anything from the cafe. My husband's lentil soup was bloomin fantastic best lentil soup I have eaten. Actually I preferred it to my mum's lentil soup and it's pretty fine! Some upstairs seating as well but still fairly limited space. But you must must eat here.
