Lovely meal with a lovely view and very good service and welcome

Great hotel, excellent service, the fish however was a little greasy for my liking

Nice and close to the airport. Check in was easy enough. I found what looked like blood on the pillow case of my bed and then what looked like coca cola down the side board. Didn't look like the cleaner had been particularly fussy with cleaning the room. However the food was superb fish was excellent.

My room was lovely and clean. The Staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Would like very much to stay again.

Stayed here a few times now, beds are comfortable, food is awesome and the owners are excellent! Plus it's 5 mins from the airport.

Super customer service from Martin from the time I enquired and booked a couple of rooms. I felt that the room rates were good. While the decor of the twin room was a little tired it was spacious and comfortable. We did think that a damaged kettle with water still in it should have been spotted and addressed but it was a small issue. I was disappointed that the artwork consisted of a camel in the desert! With so many talented local artists it would have been nice to see the hotel showcasing and supporting them. We had dinner the evening we stayed and it was excellent. The dining room is very nicely decorated and gives a calm, relaxing, vibe. Staff all really good - my friend asked if they could stick a couple of candles in my cheesecake and sing happy birthday (the Shetland trip was for a significant birthday!) which they did. Breakfast - hmm, as a B&B owner I was slightly disappointed that I was faced with a tired looking bowl of fruit and not a bowl of fresh fruit salad, it is probably the most popular menu choice as a breakfast starter with us. Bearing in mind this is a hotel maybe they don't have the time? The eggs (scrambled and poached) were overcooked but everything else was fine. The views are wonderful, looking over Jarlshof (which we visited the next morning) and the sea.

Very friendly staff, good food and very clean. Fantastic hotel to visit the local area.

The hotel and staff are amazing and can't do enough for you. I always come back to this place even though am working locally. Mark and his team always make sure you have what you need and never forget a face. Many thanks Tony

Had a takeaway. It was terrible! Brown chips. Overcooked chicken. Seems like they desperately needed to change the oil. It wasn't the cheapest, and definitely not the best. Very disappointed.
