The Mill Cafe in Shetland Islands

Had lunch there today, and burger I had was just absolutely lovely. Can't recall when I had a burger this lovely ever, will definetly visit again and again and again. The staff was also lovely, just a great place to visit 😀

A very good small French restaurant. Tasty food with a wide ranging menu and varied internal decor. It does not have a customer toilet.

A small family run restaurant in Lerwick, Shetland. A good variety of dishes in its menu. The food is excellent and the puddings to die for. Good all round service. It doesn't take many people to fill it up so booking is essential.

Food was delicious! Between us the party had the filet steak and 2 had the bouillabaisse. The dishes were sublimely good. We all agreed that we would more than happily have the dishes again.The staff were charming and friendly.And the cafe a charming a quirky place, and a total delight to spend time and eat there.Definitely in the top 3 restaurants in Shetland.Would without a doubt eat there again, and recommend anyone to check it out.

A hidden gem on the quiet end of the commercial Street in Lerwick. The food was superb, filling and larger portions. Obvious care was taken in the meal's preparation.The crab pasta was just the right balance of veg and crab. The Spanish Cassoulet was hearty, well spiced.HINT: it is unlicensed so bring your own wine/beer .The owners are very nice and do focus on quality. Worth the wander to the south end.

AMAZING place. Went in for lunch one day and an evening meal a couple of days later. All the food was absolutely delicious and the lady who runs it was lovely. A wonderful place I would return to again and again.

Featuring an eclectic menu (omelette, tapas, seafood…) and choices that may be demand- and Brexit-constrained (come prepared to be flexible with your choices), this is a café where le langue française emanates from the kitchen.Lobster wasn’t available but locally-sourced crab was, a happy substitution (I devoured every morsel). The olives were…meh (and arrived late). But the almond & berry cake 🍰 wrapped up the meal nicely.Appreciated the kind service and window heater on an otherwise chilly grey day.

Stunning food in a relaxed setting with friendly staff. What's not to like.Loved it so much we have booked again for tomorrow night.Highly recommended.

We went there to eat and at some point my wife needed the toilet 🚽 the owners said wait a min for some to escort you to another shop while they disable the alarm 🚨 and escort you to the toilet while someone stand guard outside so we don’t break or steal anything, which was altogether very embarrassing and humiliating and if the shop is not available you have to go to the public 1/2 mile away. DON’T GO AVOID AT ALLL COST terrible experience

We had afrernoon coffee and cake at C'est la Vie then came back for dinner. Straightforward French menu. We had delicious scallops and haddock then creme brulee. All freshly made. It's bring-your-own wine with a good wine shop a few doors away so a very reasonably priced evening.I'd highly recommend C'est la Vie.
