Asda in Barking and Dagenham

This is a convenient store in the heart of Barking. Their offer is well balanced. I gave 1 star because at 7 o'clock they have nothing on shelves...so it's useless to open early and have nothing to offer to your customers. This is a big issue that shadows all the good thing about this store. I think is a management issue that has to be addressed.

Great big superstore. I love to do my shopping here whenever I get the chance.

No toilet facilities apparently a leak as all other shops/food places in the area. When asked if it's because the local drug problem the lady at customer services snapped and said yes we do have a problem.Happy to take your money but just don't ask if you can use any of their toilets !!Cafe downstairs selling hot food so I'm sure it's against health and safety policies to sell hot food and not provide a handwashing facility.

Not one of the best outlets of Asda. Super crowded, no customer service, the staff inside don’t know if they have the products or not, the aisle are dirty, the flowers are dead. One of the worst thing is they shopping trolleys, they don’t move and not smooth. The are dirty and the tyres are jammed; you will hear rubbing (not rolling) sound when you push, the handles are super dirty, the customer service is a joke - seems like some of them are doing pity giving services. Self checkout is a nightmare, you’ll be standing for minutes red light blinking for no reason and you need to call for help a few times;To management: please train your stuffs and ask them to smile when they serve even if they don’t know where are the products. It’s not India, we don’t deserve such cheap customer service.

It’s Asda. But it’s missing a lot of the usual things you’d find in an Asda; I’m used to pharmacies, a post office, perhaps a Timpson’s all on site.It’s bare bones. There’s maybe two of three tills with staff, with an overwhelming amount of self checkouts - the volume seem unmanageable for the staff during peak hours.But my biggest gripe: that horrendous smell below the escalator, as you come in from the car park. And in the middle of the stench: a pizza place..

Disgusting smell from the carpets near the lifts in all floors possibly due to spillage of liquid from bins while moving them across floors. I think the liquid from bins are absorbed by the carpets causing such terrible smell that we feel like puking every time we use the lifts from the car park.

Nice amount of parking but can get very busy, lots of bus stops outside store and barking market right outside. Café on lower ground.Very poor customer services by majority of staff, from shopfloor staff to the tills. I avoid shopping in this branch as the staff a very rude and arrogant. You get the feeling like we are doing them a favour by shopping there, there's a Tesco superstore 5 mins drive away where you get exceptional service there and everything you need.Adbeyo shopfloor staff needs sacking disgusting behaviour and Humera who works on customer care really doesn't care about customers and needs training or needs to be moved to a non customer facing role.Security are a joke they will usually racially profile customersThe shop is a mess if you go in after peek time with pallets and cages all over the place.Ques are always a joke there.

Please avoid this ASDA…absolute joke. Poor management from the top. Disrespectful colleagues. Every time I did Purchased from there most of the products was out of date. Very poor standards.

Went to a self checkout had a packet of peanuts which were not scanning, I asked for assistance and the lady just took it off me and said you can't buy it, without any explanation and walked off.Fair enough if it is a recall but the whole shelf was filled with them. Going to upset a lot off people.

Parking free for an hour which helps when heading to the town or high street. They have good clothing section, fresh pizza counter, hajji baba that do halal meat.
