Walked in, was left waiting at the door for nearly 10 minutes, told to get our own table. Was then left waiting another 10 minutes to be served for drinks only. Only another 5 minute wait for the drinks then they took our order. 20 minutes for 'starters' ridiculous. no smiles on faces just bad attitude. 'Manager' not helping out at all it seems, despite 'short staff'. Food took 45 minutes to arrive since ordering. Unbelievable. AVOID.

Had a quick lunch, chose the place only because there was nothing else open at 1pm in the area, unless you consider McDonald’s as an option (which I do not). Service was…well, there wasn’t much of it really. One lady trying to cover 12 lunch tables, an impossible task. Food?.. the best tasting item on my plate was ketchup and mayonnaise. It’s an ok place to eat if you are desperate, but if you have time on hands, I would recommend to go somewhere else.

It's OK. Food is typical pub food, nothing special but OK selection and portion size. Service is relatively quick and price OK for the quality. If your staying at the hotel (premier inn) and just want food then it's fine. There are better places for a more "special" meal however.

Food is good, prices good. Carpark is handy (remember to register your car on the touch panel at reception). Staff are pleasant but obviously run off their feet (understaffed?). Bit annoying have to go to the bar and queue each time (if you didnt order everything at once when first seated). We will go again.

We stayed at Premier Inn with family from abroad, we went to order takeaway meals as our family could not leave hotel yet. The guy behind the bar that served us needs some training in customer service. He checked that we could order takeaway food and when it was confirmed yes I said great will you also give us cutlery please, to which I got 'obviously, we won't let you eat with your fingers!'.The food arrived, I said to the lady that the one meal was a starter portion but we ordered a main, she said oh you need to take it up with the barman that took the order, as she went to speak to him he loudly said to her' first of all, they were wearing their masks when ordering, and they didn't specify the meal to be a main! '. Which we did, twice! My partner went up to sort it out as I knew I would just be completely rude to him. He unceremoniously got someone else to help us, not even an apology. Upon getting back to the room, the entire order was actually incorrect, but by this stage our family just ate the meals as we did not feel comfortable returning.Seriously, we have stayed at this Premier Inn in dagenham a few times and eaten at this restaurant.Blaming customers for his error, quite disgusting. During a time when hospitality is being the hardest hit economically, you would think that atleast having customer facing staff that know the meaning of service would be quite important.Less than 1 star. Would not recommend.

Frequent spot of ours for a snack and evening drink. So much parking space. Nachos needs more 🧀So so busy the last time we went but cosy as always. Queuing system at the bar needs to be clearly marked or at least staff need to acknowledge the new person in the queue. This will greatly avoid customers being confused and things not escalating especially while people become more intoxicated.

No matter where the manager Rachel goes she always manages to turn things around and give her customers 100% everytime. The staff are happy to be working and give the best service. Compliments to the chef the food was the best, Well done to you all xx

Nipped in with my 9 year old as was stopping at next doors premier inn, I ordered the garlic mushrooms and dirty fries (did want the seaside spuds but was sold out) my 9 year old had flatbread and pasta and pancakes for dessert, everything came out at the same time which was fab and was hot but I have to mention millie our waitress who was absolutely brilliant, always smiling and went out of her way to help excellent customer service!!!! Will be returning if down this way again 😃

Last time we arrived here we had a booking that the management ended up messing that up so we had to go somewhere else to eat a year ago. Finally, this time they didn't get it wrong and we were able to go to our family reunion meal out for 10 people. The service was fast for us considering how many people on our table. Food tasted great, I had the Classic Cheeseburger and an Appletiser drink.Polite and funny stuff and they knew what they are doing. The chairs feel comfortable enough too, to sit on for a good few hours. Clean tables. Spacious place with plenty of tables.3 hours free customer parking, just need type your REG in on their screen once you get into the restaurant entrance.
