A real find...proper old school authentic Indian restaurant...food good, good value and so we will be back

Was disappointed with the lamb madras chewy not tender how it should be, also had lamb starter that was the same, even though it sais its half price still expensive for what you get won't be going back.

Always brilliant food and excellent service. Best Indian for miles. Highly recommend

I’m absolutely baffled at how this place has got really good reviews.We got an order from here and if I could give it less stars I would.My favourite food is Indian cuisine and we decided to try somewhere different to our usual takeaway. Ordered for collection as soon as they opened. Never again!The food was oiley, bland and was all cold. Had to be reheated in the microwave. The samosas were essentially greasy mince, no spice or flavour and peas wrapped in burnt pastry. The onion bhaji was dry and really doughy (again no flavour), the Madras curry tasted like green chilli and coriander and not a lot else. Swimming in oil!The chicken was tender and the rice was ok. But to say I am disappointed is a understatement.I even said to my husband “it’s very rare to get a bad Indian.” How wrong was I?Both me and my husband already have stomach pains. If you want a decent takeaway I suggest you try Bayleaf.

Best Indian food I've ever had

Had takeaway dinner with the wife tonight and the food was excellent very nice and the staff was very welcoming and like family,,thank you..

Lost their way. Didn't care if I had a good or bad meal. It was pretty awful experience from the poor service to the food where I could get a fork into it. Using the term 'Curry house' is an insult to curry houses. And as someone else already stated.. burnt food.. they really don't want your business . Avoid

Very nice place to have a fantastic meal. Staff were very helpful and provided excellence service. Only down side was when it's busy it cam be quite cramped. But other than that the food was amazing. Recommend to anyone

I have a soft spot for this place, I had my first curry here in back in 1988. Some of the very same staff still here. Decent enough typical curry house dishes and really friendly service. Don't get here often these days but still enjoy it when I do.
