Dinner Box in Barking and Dagenham

Good takeaway. Tasty food. Seems to always be busy, popular. Check/phone before going there as last Wednesday wasn't open previous time we wanted on a Tuesday wasn't open finally managed to get food on way home from shift Friday night arriving 9.55pm. There is a delivery service.

Just ordered our dinner from Dinner Box… arrived within 35mins.. pipping hot… food excellent!!!

Waıted 3hours for my food terrıble ıt be my fırst and last

Put a big order through, when it finally arrived this is what their beef chop suey looked like.It had a tomato taste, red sauce, and the only vegetable was bean sprouts. I called the restaurant to give them a chance to fix the order but they weren't bothered. They said this is their recipe they've been doing for 5 years even if it's not the traditional chop suey?I mean when you order a traditional dish you expect it to be traditionally made, if they put a twist to it they should name it something else or at least explain on the description.See picture of untouched food and judge for yourself.I won't be ordering again.

It wasn’t the worse but speed could be faster. Had to wait for an hour for delivery despite being very close by. Food was tasty but I’m not a fan of their curry sauce. I’d probably come again as there wasn’t anything majorly wrong, but could have space for improvement.

I was skeptical because of previous reviews however, the food was excellent and service was friendly. We walked in to collect our order and was waiting a few minutes as they had not heard us walk through the door and was busy in the kitchen. The gentleman was extremely polite and apologetic and offered us some extra prawn crackers.Delivery times I cannot vouch for but I can honestly say even the best restaurants have let me down with delivery in the past.Going by the food quality, portion size and very friendly staff, this will be my regular.

Found hair in food curry sauce was green and thick and Blobby

I found meat in my seafood soup.And the meat was pink/red colour left over from sweet chilli dish.Rest of the order only onions

Not quite sure how this place had 4.1 stars, which is why I chose it. The spicy vermicelli noodles were so basic and had no flavour except salt and curry powder, which hadn't been cooked out properly and there was only 1 or 2 peices of chicken/pork. The sweet and sour chicken balls had a weird taste and texture so didn't bother to eat them, something wasn't right.Better off doing it myself next time. It's not rocket science!

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!!I ordered something and called to confirm what was inside. It came and was totally overcooked and without any pork, prawn or chicken. I am very disappointed with this service and the food and would not recommend this place to anyone! The ratings will of course keep getting poorer and poorer because the chef does not know how to cook, and the person who picks up the call does not wish to dialogue reasonably with customers. My advice to you is to stay away from this place.
